The hotel is located in the middle of everyting. You can reach the attraction points in 10-15 min. by walking. It is also accross the police station, so in a very secure area. Rooms are spacious and clean. The building has a unique atmosphere. Workers are very very very kind and helpful! The biggest surprise was the breakfast. I was expecting just coffee and corn flakes but you can find everything at the best quality: omelette, bacon, czech sausages, cheese, vegetables, greens, fruits, breads, cakes, etc.The lady working in the restaurant was very kind and smiling. We strongly recommend this hotel!

FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale façade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Prague Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city centre after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

The city of Prague was a lovely place to visit at Christmas...

The city of Prague was a lovely place to visit at Christmas time. But the airport service and staff attitude was a disaster. The flight itself lasted about 4 hours and for just to get a stamp in the passport for check in lasted 3.30 hours. The queue never ended crossing among the self check in terminals that never worked ( at least for non EU citizens and even if it was a success, you were obliged to wait in the same queue to get the stamp) and the DF stores and after for almost the whole airport. No system, no service. The airport welcome ruined the whole magical impression I got from the city.

Prague is a beautiful city which the residents obviously are proud of and look after. It is a joy to walk around and look at the architecture and open spaces. My favourite places were Charles Bridge and Petrin Hill. I found both atmospheric and fascinating and had a lot of fun in both. I went during December and also enjoyed the Christmas markets. I ate at a variety of places and enjoyed a variety of cuisines. I didn't have a bad meal while I was here. The public transport system is one of the best, cheapest and easiest to use I have come across. However, sometimes it was just as easy to walk between locations as Prague isn't a big city. The only downside to Prague is that it isn't great for children. I took my daughter to the zoo which she liked and we visited various parks but apart from that, it was difficult to find activities to interest her.

We had not realised what a tourist mecca Prague has become in recent years. We were there in mid-November that we would think of as low season but the castle and old city areas were full of visitors. There is much to see of historical importance; and wandering the old mediaeval streets with lots of little restaurants and shops is very pleasant. A word of warning - Check opening times for places you want to visit. We missed out on 3 different sites that were closed at the time or day we went

A lovely weekend break with so much to see.

A lovely weekend break with so much to see. Only disappointment was the airport that has started a new finger printing system and took over 2 hours to get through and you still had to queue further to get your passport stamped and a photo taken.

Went in December for 5 days for the Christmas markets.

Went in December for 5 days for the Christmas markets. Prague is beautiful - if you appreciate architecture you'll love it. Markets were great, really Christmassy and not overly busy like they are in the UK. Easy to get around Prague, bus, tram, underground all easy to navigate and really convenient to buy one ticket for all modes of transport. Loads of restaurants, museums, historical buildings, parks, castles, towers. Load to do. And finally friendly people who all spoke fluent English, and decent prices. Thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful city amazing architecture most sites are within walking distance so much to do and see But costly especially central tourist areas ! One particular Irish bar charge £22 pounds for a red wine and a Baileys Watch out for service charges even if you have basically served yourself they still add it on ! Many places to eat so look around Trams are easy and cheap so use them but most of the main sites are central and all within a good walk The Museum is a must and so is the castle up on the hill and on your return if you walk over the Charles bridge at duck you can catch the lamp lighter lighting up the old gas lights on the bridge

Great hotel! … Decent sized, very clean room. Excellent breakfast .. so much choice and all best quality. Staff were all very helpful…We arrived before check-in and wanted to spend the afternoon in Prague after checking out so it was good to be able to leave our cases. Amazing location .. only 2 min round the corner from the Old Town Square and Astronomical clock and walking distance to all other main sites including the Charles Bridge and Castle. We would definitely stay here again.

Location is amazing, just a short walk to the Charles bridge and old town square. Even though it’s central the area around the hotel is quiet. There are some nice cafes and unique shops close to hotel. The room was spacious, breakfast had a great variety every day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a great location, about 12 minute walk from the Old Town Square. It also has good public transport connections of a tram and bus. Very comfortable hotel room with comfy beds and pillows. The room was a great size, as was the bed. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice each morning.
