Stunning decor, very comfortable room, and kitchen facilities which were useful. Very helpful staff. No breakfast, but fabulous bakery 200 yards away. Within walking distance of the big attractions.

This place is a true gem! The owner is super positive person who welcomed us with his dogs. The apartment is located in the beautiful woods and on the stud farm! Staying in the apartment and watching the horses was a unique experience which we loved! The place is very cosy, warm, and it has everything you need (kettle, cooker and all the equipment necessary to make a meal).

Actually better than expected.

Actually better than expected. Bad Bederkesa is incredibly green, the people are friendly and welcoming, everything was relaxed. I also noticed that the small town still has some retail shops and that the public transport system is quite clever, using small taxis subsidized by the state, so you can get to Bremerhaven or other train stations (in my case, Hechthausen) for very little money (€6).

The castle is well worth a visit; it's very interesting.

The castle is well worth a visit; it's very interesting. The moorland spa is wonderful for a wellness day with a moorland bath and highly recommended. Everyone at the spa is very friendly. The Hotel Bösehof is also very nice and highly recommended.

The spa town is clean and offers many leisure activities and restaurants, a few shopping opportunities, a beautiful park, a large lake (circumference=7km), a half hour's drive to two (dog) sandy beaches, and is dog-friendly.

A beautiful, well-maintained little town with friendly...

A beautiful, well-maintained little town with friendly people. The culinary scene leaves nothing to be desired, with a diverse range of options to suit every taste. There's plenty to see and do within the town itself, from the windmill and wedding park to the canal, lake, and town center.

Bad Bederkesa and the surrounding area are generally wonderful places for walking or cycling. All shopping facilities are available, as well as cafes and restaurants. And the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, due to Covid, I wasn't able to take advantage of everything that's usually on offer.

The castle is well worth a visit, and the town boasts a beautiful church. The lake with its large playground is also fantastic. The town center is lovely too, with something for everyone. Furthermore, you can find excellent food both at the castle and by the lake, and there's a great ice cream parlor there as well.
