A lovely little town right on the sea with a small, idyllic...

A lovely little town right on the sea with a small, idyllic harbor. Highly recommended for dog owners; the restaurants are very dog-friendly. However, there are no shops; a small supermarket would be a welcome addition.

Mudflat hiking, wave swimming, dike walks, cycling, and a few very good to good restaurants and delicious fish stalls, etc., at the harbor. So many dogs, all peaceful and on leashes. Many excursion options to Bremerhaven, Cuxhaven, Bad Bederkesa, etc.! The dog park is clean and well-maintained. It's better to drive to Dorum Neufeld.

The place is always great.

The place is always great. However, I would have expected the public toilet near the stalls to be better maintained, even though it's the start of the season. The public toilet at the beach hall was well-maintained, after all.

There was a bakery nearby, a Greek restaurant, and a pizzeria! At the harbor, there were several stalls selling fish, crepes, and fries! There was also a grill stand and a coffee shop! Plus, an ice cream parlor with very good ice cream! Quite a lot for the time of year we were traveling! But otherwise, it was freezing cold! A bit too boring for me personally, but my husband liked it!

A lovely little village with a fish restaurant and a Greek...

A lovely little village with a fish restaurant and a Greek restaurant where dogs are welcome. A little paradise for hiking. Unfortunately, there are no grocery stores or bakeries until 6 km away. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely come back.
