Wow this was a real special experience! "In the middle of nowhere" feeling, waking up with the sound of birds, beautiful view, very friendly host, a clean apartment with soul. We absolutely loved it. We don't usually drive this route between the Netherlands and Czech Republic... This time we drive this route because we are heading to Belgium. But we loved it so much and that makes us consider changing the route next time, and driving some kilometers extra to be able to return to this location. Thank you Thomas!

Nestled in the picturesque town of Alsfeld, this beautifully restored Art Nouveau villa is a true gem that blends timeless elegance with contemporary comfort. I had the privilege of staying in the Ludwig Suite, a space of refined luxury and thoughtful detail. The suite pays homage to King Ludwig II of Bavaria, reflecting both romanticism and grandeur in its design. From the plush furnishings to the serene view of the gardens, every aspect of the room was flawless and deeply atmospheric. The Marie Suite, named after Queen Marie of Prussia, offers a similarly regal experience. It is a celebration of elegance, femininity, and classic style – perfect for guests seeking a peaceful yet inspiring retreat. What truly elevates Hotel Villa Raab is its staff. Warm, attentive, and exceptionally professional, they made my stay seamless and memorable. A particular word of heartfelt thanks to Markus Kirchheim, whose honesty and integrity shine brightly. After misplacing my wallet at the nearby château, Markus found and returned it to me – completely intact. This act of kindness spared me a potentially devastating situation, and I remain deeply grateful. Hotel Villa Raab is not just a place to stay – it’s an experience.
