We were in the annex and the room was huge. We even had a dressing area between the room & the bathroom. Very quiet central location. Excellent breakfast & evening meal. Staff were lovely, friendly & helpful. I've stayed here before and was very pleased to see that it was still a family run business with the same attention to detail. Thank you Familie Katzmann for a great stay.

The location is perfect and our room overlooked the lake. The bedroom is beautiful - classic, elegant, great beds and very good seating/lighting for reading. Breakfast at the coffee cafe was fine; the coffee was excellent.

The studio apartment was well set out and could sleep 4 at a pinch (but would be a bit cozy). There is a sleeping area on a mezzanine floor, with kitchenette, sitting room and bathroom on the ground floor. It is decorated in a modern Scandinavian style with the quirky addition of bedside tables supported by gnomes (!). It's situated in a country area and is on the same site as an equestrian facility (mainly polo and dressage as far as I could see). It's handy for Potsdam and it's art treasures (20 minutes drive) but a bit light on local restaurants (which seem to be mainly Italian - check out la Riva in Werder, a short drive away)
