We arrived late for only one night. It is a shame that we didn't see much of the surroundings. The location is nice, position beside the river and a beautiful wooden bridge, which is quite in your face if you sit on their outside terras or, like us, from the large balcony on the side of the hotel. It has a pretty contemporary and fresh looking interrior. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. It is located on the edge of a bigger village which look interesting. Parking is outside. The bathroom is good and has a decent roomy shower. Also good beds.

The wellness area is really nice with beautiful views, would be great if it went on a little longer into the evening instead of closing at 19:00, although the pool is still available until 21:00. I really liked the food the served in the evening and overall would love to come back here again.

The staff were really nice and friendly and the breakfast perfect to start the day with enough energy to hike around the Schwarzwald. You can reach lots of hiking routes by foot from the hotel. It’s location is also perfect to rest, since it is located at the end of the Tonbachtal (valley). We had a room with view to the forest. You can ask the staff for guidance about hiking routes also, they were really helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was outstanding—delicious and beautifully presented every time. The spa was truly amazing, offering a peaceful and luxurious escape. What really stood out, though, was the staff—so warm and welcoming, they made me feel like part of the family. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice time and enjoyed our stay a lot. They do charge for a dog (which is fine) but for the first time we felt that our dog was actually welcome and that they really provided something extra for the charge. The dog received a bed, a bowl and a treat. The baby cot was also a proper one (wood) so everyone had a great time. The pool was really nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Traveling with our dog, we booked a spacious room with a view, and what we got exceeded all expectations. The room featured a large sitting area, a small dining space with a kitchenette, a cozy bedroom, and a fully equipped bathroom. The balcony offered breathtakingly beautiful views. The spa facilities were fantastic, opening early in the morning, allowing us to enjoy a swim before breakfast. The hotel was incredibly well-organized, and the staff were highly professional. We had a wonderful dinner at their dog-friendly restaurant, and breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options, including fresh and tasty fruits.

Loved the trip back in time (furniture, deco....). Clean and comfortable, in a beautiful area (small village, so a car helps). Run by a friendly elderly man (doesn't speak English and his daughter (speaks English). Good breakfast. Good value for money. We had dinner at the hotel next door - very convenient (didn't have to drive), and good food.
