We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel has restored an old and rustic charm which takes you back to old days. It has a beautiful dining area and the breakfast was good. The hotel also is a part of the famous cafe which serves the best Black forest cake. We were happy we didn't have to go around looking for it in the town. The hotel is very close to all the main attractions. The Triberg falls is within walking distance and all the tourist attractions are nearby. Wen. had a very pleasant stay and will visit again.

This charming hotel offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the incredibly friendly and helpful owner/manager kindly waited for us well past the official check-in time, something we really appreciated after a long journey. The rooms are spotless, have a nice balcony and the beds are very comfortable with hotel-quality linens. You can tell great care is being taken with the recent redecoration, there’s a clear vision to make the space into a stylish boutique-style retreat. Breakfast had plenty of local cheese, deli meat and fresh bread. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Just a short stroll takes you to the beautiful waterfall, as well as to the town centre, cafes, restaurants, and local attractions. This an excellent choice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and would happily stay again.

The apartment is spectacular! Not only is it in an excellent location, but it has also been exquisitely renovated and is fully equipped with every detail a traveler might need. From a complete and brand-new set of dishes and kitchenware to a coffee machine with fresh coffee beans and cream provided—everything was incredible. However, the highlight of our stay was the host, Adriatik. He is an outstanding host and a wonderful person. He went above and beyond to help us with a problem we had with our vehicle, sending assistance on the road and allowing us to store our luggage for longer until the issue was resolved. Truly a remarkable human being. I would definitely return to this place!

Triberg is a very odd place.

Triberg is a very odd place. Once you've seen a few cuckoo clocks, they really aren't that interesting. Who is buying them?! The waterfalls are great and it's a nice walk to the top but in retrospect I'd go directly to Freiburg from Baden Baden (our previous stop) and probably skipped this town.

Very nice town with nice cockoo clocks, especially the 3 Bears, and well located to see Black Forest's attractions. Unfortunately the shops open late in the morning and close very early in the evening, so not too much to see in the evening. Very good dinner at "Landgasthof zur Lilie"

Stay in Triberg is comfortable.

Stay in Triberg is comfortable. Attractions can be completed in a day and konus guest card allows you to travel within Blackforest for free and visiting attractions with paid entrance, free of charge.

Touristy little town, but more to do than we had time for.

Touristy little town, but more to do than we had time for. Black forest cake (don't say Gateau, they don't call it that!) is well worth trying if you have a sweet tooth - Adler's is our favourite Cuckoo clock shops are worth a visit, amazing how much goes into them We would have liked a full day there to also do the museums etc.

It is good for walks and family time together.

It is good for walks and family time together. The Triberg waterfall walk through helps me reconnect with myself and nature. The swimming pool is a good place for the entire family to have a picnic and swim or play around.

Triberg is nice small town can easily reach attractions of black forest from here. Few minutes walk to the highest water fall in Germany, Several hiking trails vis black forest Konus card is helpful with the commuting around back forest free of charge from busses and trains.

The apartment was in a lovely location, very accessible to local amenities and sights. Although we drove to Germany, the apartment is located in Triberg town so we also walked a lot. Great for hiking and also again a 10 min walk to Triberg waterfall. We didn't realise either but on the days we didn't swim in the nearby lakes there is actually an outdoor swimming pool just a 10 min walk from the apartment which is absolutely fantastic for the kids and us adults!!

The hotel is well located to be at the centre of Triberg attractions and famous waterfalls. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The staff were a delight. So friendly and welcoming, always ready to answer questions or help. The young receptionist even carried our bags to our rooms on arrival and departure. The food was also reasonably good and drinks were made available in the lounge area

We arrived late as we didn’t know reception would close at 6, but we were received with the biggest smile by the owner who returned especially for us to let us in. Large room with nice view. Great location and free on-site parking. Everything in Triberg within walking distance.

The room is big and clean. When you check in, the hotel will provide you the Triberg card, which is free for waterfall enter. The hotel has sold the Black Forest cake. It is quite chill to enjoy the cake after check in.
