Located just minutes away or in very close proximity to Dominica’s international airport, this place is ideal if you have an early flight. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Dinner was served in the hotel (extra cost). Then there wasn't need to go to Marigot city (5 km away). You also meet other tourists when having dinner all over the world and you can share hints what to do and where to go. There were some local drinks (based on rum) in the bar with different flavours. The hotel took me to the airport (with extra cost though). There were some birds singing in the bushes next to the main building, where the breakfast and dinner were served. I did a hike (not trail, but road). It starts 15 mins from the hotel (close to the school), then it goes up to the mountain, then back to "the highway" (like local people say), then 15 mins back to the hotel. Staff know this route. Reserve 4 hours and a lot of water and some energy (I bought some bananas and candies). It is just 10 km, but the road goes up and down all the time. It feels like 20 km. I was pretty tired when I came back. The weather was pretty warm and humid, too.
