Everything, the hotel, staff, Caldas de Reis itself is a joy. We had a lovely quiet room with a balcony at the rear of the hotel. We slept well and there was no disturbance or noise. The hotel is in a great location on the camino. Check in is on the other side of the road to the hotel but that wasn't an issue. Lady on reception was really helpful and smiley. Great place to stay.

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in.

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in. The beds were comfortable, it was a safe area. The kitchen was decent, the air conditioning worked well (important during this stay as it was hot in CdR). It seemed to be quiet so getting a good nights rest was easy. There are dining amenities very close and there is also a produce market if you are inclined to make your own food! The wifi was a little dodgy at times. We used the washing machine and the clothes drying rack which made our stay there very productive.

A great place to stay for the Camino. Very helpful locals good restaurants and supermarkets the girl in the information bureau was so helpful when I asked if she could call speak in Spanish to the host of our apartment when we could not get the link to work so helpful. would visit again as Caldes de Reis had a good vibe

There was a good street market when we arrived around...

There was a good street market when we arrived around lunchtime. It was really difficult to find a place that would serve a meal in the early evening. Finally, we found Bar La Catedral Del Sabor, very near our hotel. The owners are lovely and we had a good meal there. They have a stamp for the Camino passport also. The bridge on the Camino, as it leaves Caldas da Reis, is very picturesque.

Caldas de Reis is a stopover for the people walking the "Camino de Santiago". Very quite and small town with lots of hostels and hotels for the walkers. Best restaurants - O Loureiro and O Muiño

It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque.

It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque. Nice parks to walk around, plenty of restaurants and cafes. It's small so easy to get around by walking. Did not partake of the hot springs but this town definitely famous for them.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

The Villa Galicia was really nice and was quiet. It was lovely to be able to sit outside in the garden and relax after a long day walking the camino. There is a laundrette in the village which is a useful facility for those walking the camino. The pool looked nice but I didn't get to swim in it. Breakfast was served in a covered terrace outside which was really nice. Overall, a very nice hotel.

Warm reception from bubbly, super helpful Andreea. Beautifully finished adaptation of attractive, historic building right on the Camino. Clean room with quality linen. Excellent inclusive breakfast. Clear communication with hotel beforehand facilitating easy luggage transfers.

The host, was so helpful and kind. She showed us around the facilities and room. And made everyone feel welcome. The room was clean and bed comfortable, the location was central for access to caldas de reis. Was value for money.
