The hotel is situated in an exellent location and easy to find.All the staff were very friendly and the guy on reception upgraded us to a room with a fantastic view. The bed and pillows were comfortable ,the bedding was very good and the heating worked.The bar prices were reasonable ,the evening meal was tasty and the buffet breakfast had a good and varied choice of both hot and cold food.we will be back.

We were travelling through the region and came here out of curiosity: a very large train station in the "middle of nowhere", transformed into a 5-star hotel. And it is great. The interior has a touch of what luxury train travel probably looked like 100 years ago. Very nicely done. Dinner was excellent (creative). Breakfast good but not special. Staff friendly and helpful.

Just comfortable. A couple of days rest on a long term cycling tour. Loved it here and wish I’d booked longer. Having a ps3 and a cupboard full of boardgames really shows the comfort of this place

Great for families with children or beginners in general.

Great for families with children or beginners in general. Lots of offer for beginners and also good for advanced skiers, but beginners have a big separate area that is very safe for first times. Also, excellent teachers at the Escuela de Esquí Candanchu. They are very good with children. If you are looking for lively apres-ski, better to stay in Jaca. However, Candanchu is the perfect place to avoid hassle in the morning, right by the slopes, good facilities and fun. You can pop down to Jaca in the evenings if looking for other activities (ice skating, visiting the Citadelle, the cathedral, good restaurants, etc).

We liked everything room was upgraded free of charge staff are very good breakfast was very good evening meal was excellent with a varied menu We would certainly recommend this hotel Because of the pandemic some hotels were closed the ski lift was closed although no snow a sightseeing trip on one would have been good

I would have liked all the slopes to have been open, but...

I would have liked all the slopes to have been open, but given the weather hasn't been great, they could have used the snow cannons to make better use of them, but honestly, the quality for the price was good.

The winter sports resort where you feel at home in every season. A peaceful atmosphere reigns, and above all, a warm, welcoming spirit sweeps you away. Nothing is pretentious; lovers of authenticity will find their bliss here. Candanchu is naturally beautiful, captivating, magical!

Despite being primarily a ski resort, it offers tremendous potential in the summer for all kinds of mountain sports. Its location provides numerous options and alternatives for mountaineering activities, with routes leading to the mountains and iconic landmarks of this part of the Pyrenees.

Nice staff and very nice views from the rooms and the restaurant deck. Rooms facing south have a very nice sun room/balcony to chill. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and there are plenty of blankets and comforters available. The room feels spacious and are very bright. The breakfast buffet is very varied (hi 5 to the gluten/lactose free options). Savory options are good, as so is fruit. Yet, patries could indeed be more fresh. There is s bus stop right in front of the hotel and plenty of paths to hike nearby.

Arrived just ahead of some dreadful weather in early September. The position is excellent with great views. Walls are a bit thin but not many others staying when we were so not a problem. Staff were delightful, especially the man on reception. Food reasonably priced and well presented. The road up to the hotel and then down into France the next day was spectacular driving

A comfortable little Gite in a town full of ghastly high rise ski hotels. Stayed with my son on a mountain trek in September. Good basic gîte d’étape accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good, varied and generous breakfast.
