Superb room in the modern part of the building. The ancient part is used for the restaurant. Great service. Quiet. Location cannot be better, steps for the University, but away from the noise.

Situated in the heart of the city, just next to the University and at walking distance from all places of interest. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around. Very nice and helpful employees. It is an old building and they have kept the atmosphere when refurbishing.

The hotel is beautiful. The wide halls with stone tiles and huge windows overlooking the golf fields are stunning. The feel of the hotel is very rich and grand. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom is very big and has a shower and a bathtub. The room was clean. Breakfast was good and had a lot of choices, eggs, ham, cheese, cereal, fruit...

The Hotel Cisneros is a small, cozy establishment 20 minutes away from the city center on foot, and the neighborhood is very quiet most of the time. The other guests were also very quiet, most of the time. This makes the hotel ideal for a quiet stay with the family. The staff is welcoming and generously helpful in meeting all our needs - for example, receptionists boiled water for tea and warmed our food for us late at night, when the restaurant was already closed. The hotel's restaurant offers a good breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. They do offer lunch and dinner as well, but we didn't have an opportunity to check them out. We rented rooms with double beds. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the bathrooms are in excellent condition. The terraces were large and private, very pleasant for having a meal or just chilling. All in all, it's a quiet, comfortable and pleasant experience and an excellent value for the money.

Terrible small town, with nothing there, I mean nothing!

Terrible small town, with nothing there, I mean nothing! A commuter town for Madrid, but really one (very male) tawdry bar was all that was open. Thank heavens for El Pontifical - the only place worth visiting in this town - great food, hospitality and rooms.
