Great location close to both the town of Moustier Sainte Marie and the lake. We opted for the room with a garden terrace and it’s definitely worth it, you can sit out and enjoy the evening sunset. The hot tub and plunge pool are also very nice and very clean. Very friendly staff :)

I only give it a 10 because I can't give it a higher score. I was very satisfied with them, the owner and the staff are very kind and helpful. We are very grateful to him for dedicating half his day to help us. There is also a restaurant, which I can recommend. Cozy, clean hotel. It is close to everything, perfect for seeing the city.

The location couldn’t be better and the house is lovely. The house has four rooms and every room has access to a great garden with a beautiful view of the town and a cozy living room. Recommending to go here especially if you are a group of friends/family so you can hang out in the garden/living room together. This is a great place.

I've been traveling more than 30 years and I've rarely met someone as genuinely hospitable and passionate about hosting new guests as Clorinde. Together with her son, they've been incredibly warm and kind since minute one - going way above the bar of average hospitality. Clorinde has a charming life story, and she's incredible careful and attemptive to her guests' comfort. We got a lovely room, lot of attention and ultimately the feeling of "being home" each and every second we stayed at her place. Chilling in her garden is undeniably a plus, but what's really unbeatable is the incredible breakfast she offered us: a perfect combination of taste, variety and, once again, Mediterranean (and Uruguayan) hospitality. Thanks a lot Clorinde, you really set the bar high, even for a seasoned traveler like me.

This is a magical place so peaceful the home so so comfortable and clean and beautiful. There is an amazing bathtub and huge shower. The birdsong in the Morning with the sun dancing thru the tree makes the whole place feel calm and tranquil. The kitchen was excellent and a coffee maker for the morning. Thank you it was wonderful ! And a waterfall in the back garden was gorgeous.

We stayed here for 2 nights so we could go boating up the Verdon gorge and not have to drive far. An afternoon of exploring Moustiers-Sainte-Marie seemed just right. It is small but very picturesque, and the hike up to the chapel above town is well worth the effort.

This was one of our top places in Provence.

This was one of our top places in Provence. Not only is the village in a spectacular setting but it is a very charming place. We hired ebikes for 2 days from ebikesmoustier and had a fabulous time cycling on gravel tracks and small roads around Verdon. It is also a great place to locate yourself as it is not far from the boat/kayak hire on the Verdon Gorge. We visited in October and had fabulous weather. The Autumn colours were wonderful too.

Beautiful town with everything at your fingertips.

Beautiful town with everything at your fingertips. I didn't visit surrounding places during my visit but there are plenty within easy driving distance. A month later and the lavender fields would have been in full bloom but in May I had great weather, good hikes and less people than in June. May was pretty busy. Dozens of good restaurants, cafes and bars and shops galore.

It’s a stunning place.

It’s a stunning place. I stopped there because I wanted to see its surroundings like the gorge du Verdon. I stayed in in the beginning of December and everything was shut. There was a very few options available to get lunch and and only one place open for dinner.

Quite a pretty town at the base of very steep cliffs.

Quite a pretty town at the base of very steep cliffs. It is close the Verdon Gorges and has some lovely walks nearby. However it is quite expensive and surprisingly few shops and food options apart from expensive restaurants. There was no Boulangerie open in the town at all but I found one open about 10 min out of town to the NW.

The village has a nice location backing onto the mountains.

The village has a nice location backing onto the mountains. Whilst small there is a nice balance of shop’s bars and restaurants. Walks are nearby and the lack and rivers nearby giving plenty of options. I used it as a base for bikes rides for which it is well positioned. Great spot

I enjoyed my stay despite the hotel's failings. My room had a great view, the staff were friendly and the location was great. It's decades since I stayed anywhere with sheets, blankets and a bedspread, rather than a duvet but in fact it worked out well because it was hot and it was easy to dispense of layers but still stay covered. I loved the quirkiness of this hotel but if you prefer a sterile one then this is not for you. Leave it for the slightly eccentric like me.

The rooms were just too cute!! Centuries old house run by 7th generation BNB hosts. Could ask for nothing more southern France than this!! All with a modern bathroom, exquisite towels, and loveliest hosts. Would highly recommend! Also the perfect location to explore the Verdon gorges, for both drives and water fun!

Lovely hotel at the bottom of a bustling village, perfectly located. Very nice pool and terrace area with a lovely restaurant. Staff were very hospitable. Rooms were comfortable, housekeeping every morning. Communal fridge was great too.
