It's near the airport and you have to arrange for the ONE WAY free shuttle to the airport. You have to go by youself to the hotel. The receptionist was great, friendly and helpful. Hot water at the coffee machine.

This hotel is an excellent option layover or an overnight stay near the airport. The rooms are simple and clean with the option for a private bathroom or a shared bathroom if you're on a budget. I was nervous booking such a reasonably priced hotel especially so near the Swiss border but I was very pleasantly surprised. The service at the desk was amazing despite the late check in. The night receptionist was very accommodating with both my partner and I and also the couple that checked in before us where the receptionist was very knowledgeable about the area and transport options. Stayed on 8/10/24.

The check-in process was great, and the apartment's location couldn't be more convenient, situated close to train stations, a variety of restaurants, and supermarkets. The apartment itself is beautiful, super clean, and well-equipped. It comfortably accommodates 4 people and offers an amazing view. Great location tram is just few steps if you want to go to Basel.and Saint louis train station. Bus no 1 is also very accessible if you want to go shopping in Germany at Rhein center..Supermarket is just in front of the apartment and kebab restaurant just beside. .Their kitchen has all you need if you wanted to cook..We really enjoyed our stay Betty was so friendly though we only talk by phone.Thank you again. We will come back soon.

I am French so I was happy to stay in France while visiting Basel. Because of the poor experience we had in the apartment, we moved to another one in Switzerland. We found a very charming village with beautiful architecture and nature around. Switzerland must have been wealthier than this part of France for a long time and it shows.

Small relaxed hotel in centre of Saint Louis, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, have stayed here on a few occasions, hotel provides a free shuttle service to Basel Mulhouse Airport. Hotel is in a central location, lots of restaurants and bars nearby plus added bonus of a bakery just next door

From the moment we checked in, Mary, at reception, greeted...

From the moment we checked in, Mary, at reception, greeted us with her friendly professional and exceptional hospitality. We were early, but Mary found immediate accommodations for us which was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Mary even escorted us to our room. A first for me. Breakfast, included in stay, was delightful too. We will of course be recommending booking for all of our family & friends, and anyone else who may travel to Basil, Switzerland. Loved our stay from beginning to checkout.

The reception and check-in were OK.

The reception and check-in were OK. However, upon arriving at the 2nd-floor corridor, the strong smell of air fresheners or cleaning products was quite unpleasant. Entering the room, the smell was again unpleasant, reminiscent of an old and unclean carpet. Cleanliness is definitely not their strongest aspect; the floor was dirty and covered with a cheap, smelly carpet. Additionally, the room in general, and the toilet area in particular, were worn out and poorly maintained. I stayed in a room with two single beds. One mattress was saggy and uncomfortable, so I switched to the second bed, which was better. The location is perfect if you want to visit Basel. The staff at the front desk were nice and helpful, and the breakfast was good. There is also a nice supermarket and bakery just across the road.

We reached the property at night and received a call from...

We reached the property at night and received a call from the host prior, who was very friendly. Once we reached the property, we weren't able to locate the exact apartment nor find the right parking lot. Thanks to a neighbour who helped in getting us to the property and also advised us to park in one of parking allotted space whichever is free.

Very much ‘budget’.

Very much ‘budget’. No air conditioning at night (started up in morning). Bed hard as a rock. WiFi not connecting to internet. Basic TV channels with no foreign language service. No tea/coffee making facilities. Was a Plus that windows opened on a hot night. Staff courteous, some with English. No where near airport. Did offer free pickup one way only. Took an age to arrive. Not close to rail station either. Would not stay there again

Conveniently located near the airport, room was spacious and clean and staff was helpful. There are signs that water ia not recommended for drinking, but there is a store in proximity. As we had an early flight, we did not catch breakfast, however there is a bakery just outside opening at 05:00, so we could buy some pastry and eat it in the hotel, where we got coffee as well.

Rooms are very sound proof once the window is closed. Even airplanes starting basically next to the hotel couldn't be heard. Except, window couldn't be left closed because of smell and heat. Location is okay for 1 night or if you need to go to the airport. Not much around, about a 20 minute walk to restaurants/shops. At least there is soap in the shower.
