A superb hotel! Fantastic location and very nice people. Great value. I have stayed in many hotels but this is the best, suited me perfectly, lovely room with balcony view into gorge and restaurant/ bar on site. Parking for my motorcycle out front. Perfect!

We loved every single thing from the second we arrived! We arrived in the early hours of the morning and the staff made it easy to access our room and gave us all the info we needed via WhatsApp. The staff were so friendly and attentive and nothing was too much for them. We arrived in the dark and so on the first morning we opened our curtains to epic mountains, blue sky and morning mist which was breathtaking. Our room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed - including a tea making station, Nespresso coffee machine, bottled water in the mini fridge, shampoo, shower gel and handwash. We also had a lovely afternoon having massages in the spa and then going on to use the steam room and sauna - both of which have amazing mountain views.

It's a castle! As my American wife said over and over!

It's a castle! As my American wife said over and over! It's a stunning location and quite unique. The evening food and service was amazing and the lovely breakfast overlooking the surroundings on the terrace was unforgettable. All the staff were attentive & hospitable and I would definitely come back here. Only issue was the spotty Wifi but for one night, we took a break and enjoyed this unique place.

This castle hotel is what dreams are made of!

This castle hotel is what dreams are made of! Come here to live like, and be treated like royalty. It is peaceful, elegant, historic... the perfect getaway. We had an indulgently delicious breakfast and complex gourmet dinner each day at the castle, then drove through the countryside, exploring medieval towns and tiny villages. Castellane was our favorite. The drive itself is breathtaking! Europe's only grand canyon, the Gorges du Verdon, is a sight to behold, and you drive right through it!

Your stay here is truly complete if you stay, enjoy an aperitif, dine, stay overnight, and have breakfast! It's a gem, lovingly renovated by young entrepreneurs. Not cheap, but it offers value for money.

The location is fantastic, the view is wonderful, and it's very peaceful. Close to Castellane, Moustiers Sainte Marie, and the Lac de Sainte Croix. The magnificent Château de Trigance offers every comfort, excellent cuisine, and a pleasant and welcoming staff.

The location is secluded, about an hr drive from the Gorges du Verdon where we'd visited for the day, and stayed of Trigance enroute back to Nice. I loved the fact that it was a Castle, it was unlike any other accommodation experience we'd had in France, just so majestic. It also felt more like a 4 star and not 3 star as rated because of the great service, cleanliness, room size and comfort, restaurant option, and just general feeling of the place. The rooftop terrace was also just amazing.

Le Petit Saint Clair was a wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of the ancient village of Trigance.. It had everything we needed and the view was amazing! The village is fascinating and has all the basics- bakery, small shop for supplies and a great tabac/cafe with excellent food. From Trigance, we're able to explore the Gorges of Verdon - truly stunning.
