We arrived quite late in the evening. Despite the dining room being closed, we were generously provided with a full spread, including the most delicious onion soup, fresh sandwiches, salad, breads and beverages. All served in the beautiful library with elegance and formality. Now that’s truly exceptional! Our breakfast was equally well done. The house is grand and the gardens divine. Would return in a heartbeat.

Excellent quiet location, close to the historic centre with buses to train station a few metres away. All the staff were attentive, friendly and nothing was too much for them - the nicest people! Breakfast was incredible, they have thought of everything, including: warming up croissants, choice of breads, hot breakfast items, cereals with nuts etc, our favourite was the waffle maker (Belgian choc sauce plus other choices). Could not fault it, we'll be back again!

The staff was very friendly. The location was perfect for the purpose of my trip. Moreover, it is not very far from the center. I could have a walk to visit the city. The room had a very functional and fancy interior design, I wouldn't expect more in the UK. It was possible to have late dinner while every other restaurants were closed (winter time)
