The apartment was clean and compact. Gaining access on arrival was extremely easy and perfectly situated for our needs in the town with off road parking. The apartment had all the facilities we needed including iron, fridge, clean towels and even miniature shampoo/conditioner & bodywash. We would definately recommend. Perfect stay for a night out in town!

Liz is a very lovely and helpful host, even bringing me a plate, knife and fork, and kindly sharing a menu for a great local takeaway that delivered very quickly. The room itself was perfect – the bed was super comfortable and the temperature was spot on for me (Liz had even put the heater on for my arrival, which was a nice touch, but I didn’t need it for long 😁). The bathroom was spacious and had everything I needed. The location is also great, with a few nice bars and local shops within walking distance, and just a few miles away there’s a fantastic golf course with parking and beautiful views. Would happily stay again – highly recommend!

Lovely place to stay in the heart of Ilkley. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The access to the town and wider with the train service was perfect for us. It was a really nice atmosphere and the staff were welcoming and sorted anything we needed. The breakfast was great. Will be recommending this place to friends and definitely returning ourselves!

Received a warm welcome and such care from staff who located a 3-prong plug (I had forgotten to pack) and tailored meals to be gluten-free. I highly recommend the Cow and Calf. Phenomenal view of the moor and rock formation.

Can't comment on breakfast but we had a family dinner in the restaurant the first evening and the menu was varied and interesting and very well prepared and served. One guest found a problem with one main course and it was replaced immediately without question. The room we had was large, comfortable, clean and had a lovely bathroom with superb large shower. The staff were friendly, helpful and patient even when the two small children who came with our family group got very boisterous. The location on the edge of the countryside yet a pleasant walk or short drive to Farsley centre is perfect. Big car park at no charge was the icing on the cake for us when many hotels now charge for parking. Thank you for an excellent stay.

This hotel was amazing, from the great staff to the location and rooms. I had not expected too much, but this was beyond my wildest expectations. Customer service from the heart, not from some IHG training program. Totally fantastic!

Baildon is at the top of a hill and relatively quiet, especially at night. Plenty of drinking and eating places and a Co Op for food. Roads are fine, and local buses run to Shipley and Bradford. The railway station is not well located, so take train to Shipley and then bus or taxi.
