Truly amazing place with very accommodating staff - we hit an unexpected diversion that added almost an hour towards our journey. The staff was very understanding of the situation and waited for our arrival despite the pub being closed. The room itself was amazing, with one of the comfiest bed we slept on away from home. The walk-in shower was very convenient with the cherry on top being the cosmetics provided.

The property is located well in the best part of the forest. The rooms are so constructed that you are given to believe that the WHOLE PROPERTY is dedicated for you. In our stay, we did not see anyone else, except the hosts. The hosts are so eager to help, and went out of the way to make us comfortable. We had an early morning start one of the days, so they prepared some special breakfast for us the previous night and kept it in our in-room refrigerator! Food was delicious, fruits and veggies were fresh as ever!

We visited Beaulieu Motor Museum, Hurst Castle, Butlers Hard...

We visited Beaulieu Motor Museum, Hurst Castle, Butlers Hard and Highcliffe for a walk and to watch the sunset. We had long walks in the forest which were lovely. We are vegan and found the best options in the New Forest Inn in Lyndhurst. We also enjoyed the Snake Catcher Pub in Brockenhurst. We also thoroughly enjoyed the parkrun at Brockenhurst.

Great area to explore the New Forest and beyond.

Great area to explore the New Forest and beyond. Brockenhurst village is small, but has everything you need for a few days. Locals were really friendly. Beautiful place to stay. Good pubs , fish and chips shop and grocery shops

The hotel was excellent, everything was brilliant and the staff were great. Brockenhurst is a lovely village, and the wondering horses are a delight. It's a very picturesque place. I'm sure it must get very busy in summer months. I should have taken better waterproof footwear. Road signs are not brilliant Only downside for me, is not much vegan food around at the surrounding pubs, restaurants etc. Hopefully that will get better.

I've been to Brockenhurst many times; mostly camping in...

I've been to Brockenhurst many times; mostly camping in various campsites and I love it there. Stunning walks and beautiful scenery nearby. Had a nice meal at The Huntsman. Have hired a bicycle there before and will do this again next time.

Brockenhurst is a very attractive centre to stay, pleasant to amble around. Plenty of facilities for local residents, students and visitors, friendly cafes. Easy to get around to other centres in the forest or seaside, walking, cycling, by train, bus or car.

Breakfast was lovely, facilities were all in great condition. Comfortable bed, nice shower, space in communal lounge to sit. Hot chocolate was amazing - chocolaty liquid sugar - so good. Also had nice strawberry, blueberry, granola and yoghurt for breakfast as well as toast, muffins, cereal and pastry. Right in the new forest, I could see wild horses out from the window all day, and some guests went cycling from the front of the hotel. Well positioned to access different parts of the new forest

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the New Forest. Lovely grounds and lots of areas to sit outside and enjoy a drink. The staff gave exceptional customer service. We had dinner in the Armada restaurant - the food was amazing and huge portions! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a real luxury break.
