Hands down one of the best most friendly places I've stayed at. On arrival the staff were very helpful showing us to our room. The room was immaculate and very beautiful with a four poster bed, free standing bath and a sitting room with balcony. The Inn itself ws surprisingly busy considering it is in the middle of know where but we couldn't fault the atmosphere. The food was proper hearty grub and the staff were excellent. Breakfast in the morning was pretty amazing too and the chef was very chatty and friendly. I honestly can't say a bad word about the place. We ate well, slept like logs and were made to feel very comfortable. We will definitely stay again in future

Staff were friendly, room was neat and in order. Tea and coffee and toiletries provided. I was hoping for the four poster bed and we got it! Massive room that also has a couch, etc. ample parking and extremely comfortable bed. Great price for one night, would have stayed another night if we could have. We nicknamed it 'the princess room' and enjoyed the suite for what it is.

Amazing pub, everyone was so friendly, food was excellent, great atmosphere we had such a laugh. Could not fault the accommodation, pet friendly there was even 2 cats on leads and they had their own chair. We would definitely visit again, thanks so much guys you should be very proud.

Very comfortable and in an annex to the pub so quiet in the evening even when the pub is busy. The breakfast was very nice and the staff welcoming. They always asked what time we want breakfast so it was fast and tasty.

The location, just outside Bath, was great for me, as it was accessible to the centre, yet lovely and quiet. Facilities were top notch - a big, comfy bed with crisp white sheets, all facilities clean and fresh, with luxurious fluffy towels in the bright bathroom. Loved the characterful pub downstairs. The owners were charming and helpful. Next time I'm in Bath, this will be my choice for accommodation. Great value.

Found it to be friendly. If you would like a countryside experience then this is a wonderful place to be the views are fantastic. Ideally situated for explloring Wells, Bath and Bristol also Cheddar Gorge.

Everything could not of been better, from the staff to food ,the room & of course the drink . Staff always willing to help. The food was fantastic ( you just have to try one of the oggies ), we used to stay over at the hotel 20 yrs ago & alway remembered it as a nice place so thought we would get away for the day & try it again, although it was a long time ago nothing has changed it is as good now as we remembered it back then. A really lovely place with everything to match from the people to the food.

Located in a very quiet part of the countryside this hotel met our requirements for an overnight stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the Hunters Rest served excellent food and had a good selection of drinks available. The room up one set of stairs was very clean and although the one window over looked the lane to the property there was very little traffic and we slept through the night with no disturbance at all. Excellent stay and would recommend.

We booked the hotel for a visit to nearby Bath, as we couldn't get anything in town with guaranteed parking facilities. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was excellent - much better even than in some more expensive places. And the cosy, pub-like hotel restaurant offered good food.

Lisa, the host is fantastic, very warm and welcoming and lovely to chat to. my stay was great, the room is very comfortable and has the same little extra you’d find in a hotel. the house is located in the lovely countryside and easy to find with plenty of parking.

Lisa was absolutely fab! I was really nervous about staying in someone's house as normally I book into a hotel and she was so warm welcoming. I slept like a log. Will definitely be staying again and bringing family.
