Very friendly welcome from Claire when we arrived. She was most helpful during our stay, resolving any issues we had. The food at this hotel is excellent, both dinner and breakfast. The Swale room was very comfortable with a huge bathroom. Lovely hotel.

The location was just what we were looking for, we didn't have time to use the spa facilities. Beautiful decoration in harmony with the building. The body care products were very welcome after a long day out, also a hairdryer. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was superb and plentiful. Everything piping hot and good quality produce. An ideal hotel for anyone planning to explore Yorkshire.

An idyllic setting with a warm welcome, a wonderfully comfortable bedroom and a superb breakfast. Karen is a great hostess and we were only sorry that we weren't able to stay more than the one night on our way to Scotland. We recommend Lily Hill Farm without hesitation - but hurry, because Karen is talking of retiring soon.
