Lovely property in a great location. Beautifully appointed and well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Gill and Seamus are perfect hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The cottage has been finished to a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean and very cosy. The breakfast items, tea, coffee and milk were a real bonus. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the location, the warm atmosphere of the hotel when you step trough the front door, the warm welcome by staff and the exceptionally clean rooms. We pre-booked our tabel at the restaurant in the hotel online. We really loved the menu and we enjoyed well excecuted and delicious dinners. I recommend that you have the lamb shank and mash. I had it twice :)

My daughter is 17years old and was in transit to College unaccompanied from her parents. The Hotel was contacted as it stated in the booking that U18 are classed as children and all children must be accompanied by an adult. The hotel were fantastic and the mangement team assisted us with our predicament and they ensured that her stay went smootherly! Fantastic service by professional team!

Stayed in the best room. Room 6 with high ceilings, great little bathroom and loads of space. sweet little welcome pack of biscuits, coffee, fruit and some good stuff for breakfast. Super close to the airport.

A great place to visit with the lovely small town of...

A great place to visit with the lovely small town of Clevedon close by with the 1930's pier, lovely local shops. Nailsea has a couple of really nice micro bars and wine bars. Also, a visit to Tyntesfield (National Trust) is a must!!

Good place when visiting places like Cheddar Gorge (WOW),...

Good place when visiting places like Cheddar Gorge (WOW), Tynefield house lovely and near to bath, wells, bristol. Cliffon suspension bridge is a must see although it showered on our visit we witnessed a beautiful rain bow reaching from one side of river to the other. highly recommend area safe and clean beautiful scenery.

Newly furnished and well equipped, nice garden and good off road parking. We enjoyed our one night stay… only, that for us, the bed was too soft and a bit too narrow, so not a good night’s sleep for us.

Were told today by friends that The George had recently changed hands and that local feeling was the pub had gone donwhill. It was clean, bed comfortable, but we were not expecting to eat breakfast in our room and the food provided was very poor. We used to live in the village and were expecting better service.

Great location if you are in a car. Friendly staff.

Great location if you are in a car. Friendly staff. Comfortable. Good value. For the price don't expect perfection. Nicer than staying in central Bristol and the price difference more than covers lots of car parking. Good for visiting Tyntesfield, SS Great Britain, Clifton and Bristol. No food Sunday evening but there is a Subway not far away (closes 8.00pm Sunday)

We stayed at the Rising Sun as an overnight stop. We ate there and would recommend others to do the same. No particular dislikes, friendly welcome, smart accommodation cosy dining area. Good anti covid measures in place.

We stayed over the Christmas break in order to spend time with family in Nailsea. It was important that we had easy access to the accommodation and warmth for my 93 year old mother. Dino was the perfect host and was on hand for any queries. He also texted to check we had a safe journey home. The mobile was warm, clean and comfortable on arrival after a long journey.

The property was easy to find. Parking was easy but also it's a short walk from Nailsea and Backwell station. Very clean, modern, comfortable and well-equipped. Wifi and TV worked with no problems! Not always the case! Good pub serving food in walking distance.

Quality of the room was superb, it was excellent you could have a coffee and pastry’s in the morning, the pub food was delicious definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again
