Everything about this place is 5 star. Location is amazing with lovely views. The beautiful ground floor room had everything we needed including its own kettle, toaster and fridge. Well stocked grocery store a very short drive from house. Marion is a very friendly and welcoming host. We hope to visit again in the future.

The hosts were lovely friendly people. Heisger was a beautifully built pod with lots of little touches that added to the comfort. We would highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and enthusiastically by Simon at the front desk, who honestly made this stay go from excellent to absolutely superb. He was extremely helpful with giving us ideas of where to visit on the island and how to get there, and where we could get some dinner, completely unprompted. All the staff I spoke with during our stay were wonderful and a credit to the hotel. The room was a great size, clean and comfortable, the wifi was good and the pancakes at breakfast hit the spot perfectly. A lovely little village, not near much but perfect for a quiet nights stay whilst exploring Uist.

Marion was an excellent host. So accommodating and friendly.

Marion was an excellent host. So accommodating and friendly. She gave us an upgrade which was unexpected and we had our own entrance which we appreciated. The room was beautifully furnished and we felt comfortable and cosy. We particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast in our room and Marion’s home baked bread! The views outside were stunning. We were able to walk out from our room and walk for a couple of miles along the beautiful white sandy beach which was just spectacular.

There are some lovely views over the Machair and some great...

There are some lovely views over the Machair and some great walks. It is a real crofting community, single track roads and old machinery, but there is a well stocked co-op. try eating out at the Bernaray Bistro, a 20 minute drive away.
