Lovely room with views overlooking the Christmas tree. Four poster bed with twinkling lights. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bath salts, shampoo and conditioner, body wash and lotion included. Hot chocolate sachets, delicious biscuits, coffee pods and bottled water included. Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. Welwyn was a quaint village with lovely shops. Perfect stay and we will definitely return next time we need accommodation in the area.

I know Stevenage of old and have been in the area many times over the years. Excellent facilities and very well sign-posted as to where you need to be. The night life is also very good. The Old Town is a wonder and worth a visit. I travel just over an hour to be in Stevenage and make the most of it.

Nice town and huge retail parks.

Nice town and huge retail parks. We were there to pick up a van and the car dealerships there are huuuuuge!!! Also parks and recreation grounds dotted around everywhere, so always somewhere to walk. Easy access to other towns in the surrounding area.

Stevenage used to be much more vibrant.

Stevenage used to be much more vibrant. I was shocked to see that all the shops and businesses in the town centre were closed by 6 pm on a weekday. Only happening place was Tesco in the Stevenage town centre. The shopping centre looked like was a deserted place (see photos). Next time, I will go to Cambridge.

The size of the rooms are too small.

The size of the rooms are too small. I requested for two single bed rooms of which only one room was made available. The corridor is dirty and smelling. There was complementary bottle water which was being said that we had to purchase. Never again would I book Ibis as it does not suit for purposes and far beyond expectations.

Driving from Scotland to visit my sister in hospital so no other comments had a take-away from the Golden Siam restaurant very expensive and not true Thai cooking having lived in Thailand for 12 years I am more than qualified to judge. If we have to visit again I hope that it will not be at the hospital.

Needed to stay in Stevenage for a night on a worktrip with a co-worker. Nice and newly refurbished house in residential area a short walk from Stevenage. Neatly decorated and with most amenities one could need or expect. The house was clean and spotless. The hosts was extremely pleasant and helpful. When we foolishly managed to lock ourself outside late in the evening it only took Ade a short 15 minutes to lock us back in.

Very friendly and homely, we had a bit of a medical emergency, which the staff handled very well, especially Amanda, we could not thank all the staff enough for their care, attention and sincere concern for us, we had to stay on due to this and The staff at Cromwell helped us as much as they possibly could. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone , Thankyou all again for your help and attention

Close to all amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was exceptionally clean and to a high standard. Breakfast was lovely and had a good variety of choices. Me and mum enjoyed our stay and would defo recommend it and would stay again when in Stevenage.

This hotel is located next to the train station, Asda, and the high street! It was brilliant for our one night stay while attending a funeral in the area. Lovely breakfast. Beds were very comfortable and rooms amazingly spacious!
