The building has 4 completely renovated apartments and is located in the small village of Drapanias. In this very quiet village, you will find a bakery, a tavern, and a small supermarket. The check-in was very easy as very precise instructions were sent in advance. There is free parking for guests, so no worries. The owner Ilona and her family were very friendly, nice, and helpful. They run this business with great care and thank them very much for that. Our apartment was divided into 4 zones - a sleeping area, an area with a sofa and a smart TV, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Overall the apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we really liked the way it was decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast and we also found useful things like olive oil, wine, coffee, tea, jam, local honey biscuits, and melon when checking in. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, with some hygiene kits (creams/shampoos). 2 sets of towels for the bathroom and for the pool. Plus you have a balcony and although you may hear other guests you have privacy. On the patio, you will find fresh oranges for juice and tomatoes, and a large table with a deck for breakfast or lunch in the shade. Finally, I would like to add that Drapanias is located just an hour’s drive from Chania airport and there are many beaches around, both very simple ones within 5-10 minutes, and more equipped ones within a 30-minute drive.

I can only say that our stay was exceptional. I highly recommend the apartment on the ground floor for people travelling with kids: spacious, bright, direct access to the pool. The owner will do everything to make your stay easy and comfortable! We were provided with a travel cot and a baby chair. Kitchen is well equipped, rooms can get fully dark even during the day, and all doors are new - these are all small elements that make a huge difference when travelling with a baby!! Breakfast is rich in selection and coffee/orange juice is fresh. We can’t wait to come back to Crete and to this property!

They run this business with great care and thank them very much for that. Our apartment was divided into 4 zones - a sleeping area, an area with a sofa and a smart TV, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Overall the apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we really liked the way it was decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast and we also found useful things like olive oil, wine, coffee, tea, jam, local honey biscuits, and melon when checking in. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, with some hygiene kits (creams/shampoos). 2 sets of towels for the bathroom and for the pool. Plus you have a balcony and although you may hear other guests you have privacy. On the patio, you will find fresh oranges for juice and tomatoes, and a large table with a deck for breakfast or lunch in the shade. Finally, I would like to add that Drapanias is located just an hour’s drive from Chania airport and there are many beaches around, both very simple ones within 5-10 minutes, and more equipped ones within a 30-minute drive.
