Very nice location close to the sea, but a car is necessary if you want to go to one of the nicer beaches. The room was clean and spacious with a small terrace where you cand serve a cup of coffe in the morning or relax on the evening. The breakfast is served on a plate and it's something different every day but very tasty everytime. It usually has bread, eggs of some kind, olives, greek yoghurt and jam, coffee or tea and a dessert. There is space to park the car.

What a wonderful gem in Galaxidi, cute and comfortable rooms and close to the Waterfront and restaurants. Breakfast was amazing so.much fresh and homemade bake goods and jam. I couldn't believe all the food that was provided for Breakfast. They even served freshly squeezed orange juice. Upon checking out a jar of the homemade jam is given to you. I can't say enough about this hotel, I would definately stay here again if I were passing through..

The pool and view from it were lovely. We could see the sea from our balcony on the side of the building. Great to have a good breakfast too. Restaurants were fairly close and offered great food at reasonable prices. Not sure why, but my sat nav wrongly directed us to another property in the town, rather than a little further outside it. It was quiet and not far from Delphi where we travelled the next day. It was too windy to try the beach that day.

Very nice apartment with style. very clean. very nice view hosts greeted us with cake and local oranges and as bonus showed small private beach(in water there are some sea urchins so its good idea to use footwear). Hosts are caring and helpful. nearest decent shop is ~17minutes with car in nearest town( not the one named galax....)

The location was lovely by the harbour. Nice restaurants just a few footsteps away and yet quiet and private. Spacious rooms. Breakfast rich and with newly pressed juice, omelett, home made jam etc. The family owner know how to welcome travellers. We only regret we had to travel on - would have liked to stay longer.

The town has two coves used as harbours.

The town has two coves used as harbours. The yacht marina has many restaurants and pubs. There are several expensive hotels in the town and a few less expensive ones, as well as shops and a pharmacy. It is a charming, small town with many streets for walking by the sea. An Orthodox church stands tall above the town. which itself has a very long history, dating back to the 8th century BC. I was there in mid-September - no crowds, very pleasant stay.

This place is absolutely charming.

This place is absolutely charming. There are a number of small beaches right across from the village, many with a shower, changing cabin and umbrella. The harbor can't accommodate large boats so it's very serene with lovely views and a quaint town. I would like to come back here and stay for a week just to relax.

A picturesque old town that has maintained its character (unlike nearby places like Itea). There is not a lot to do; a couple of days would suffice for Galaxidi; however, you can use it to explore the area. For example the orqacle of Delphi is 30 mins away. Arachova is not far. Nafpaktos abotu 40 mins away. So Galaxidi is a great place to use as a base. In Galaxidi itself there are plenty of good restaurants and tavernas as well as bars and coffee places. Do not miss a visit to the naval museum; it is worth the time to see the excibits and understand the history of Galaxidi.

Small Greek town with a lot of restaurants in the harbor. However, avoid those restaurant owners calling you a "friend" and pulling you into their restaurant. Anyway, a nice relaxing place after the tourist inferno of Delphi.

Guesthouse is a converted sea captain’s mansion in the beautiful seaside village of Galaxidi. Most comfortable bed we have had in these 2 weeks in Greece. Galaxidi is close to Delphi and other significant attractions but maybe because it was early in the season we found it quiet and laid back. A real gem with a number of excellent restaurants and tavernas. The guest house uses a keypad room entry system which worked well for us. The maritime museum just around the corner is well worth a visit.

The hotel is in a 300 year old mansion that has been repurposed as a hotel. Because of this, it has a lot of charm, and is also nicely located in a bustling little town with a surprising number of tourists (though still quiet in early March). However, the bathrooms are extremely small and dark, with a sink located right in the room. Breakfast is lovely, served in a sunny little terrace with a view of the sea and city. Close-ish to Delphi, around half an hour drive.

Owner/manager was an elderly gentleman who was the epitome of gracious hospitality (insisted we didn't pay until we checked out). Lovely room with balcony. Location was great, a one minute walk to the harbour, very peaceful. Free parking directly out front of hotel. Great breakfast in covered courtyard.
