We stayed at this stunning adults hotel in Crete, and choosing the all-inclusive package was the best decision we made – just remember to leave tips for the waiters and bar staff, they truly deserve it! The hotel is beautifully designed, with a dreamlike atmosphere. Around the pool, you’ll find both double sunbeds and regular ones, with plenty of spots in the sun as well as shaded areas – perfect for everyone’s needs. There’s also a main swimming pool, a shallow wading pool for pure relaxation, and a private beach where drinks are delivered straight to your lounger with just a quick tap on the app. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the entire staff was beyond amazing – from the friendly team who did everything to make our stay comfortable, to the manager who personally checked in on us. The cocktails from the bar were outstanding, and the food selection and quality at the dinner restaurant were truly impressive. We were on our honeymoon, and the level of pampering we received was simply beyond words. Highly recommended – and we will definitely return!

The Villa Blue Vedere is a fantastic place. We were a family of 5, and the house i spacious and comfortable and the outdoor area with the beautyful pool and the garden area around is just amazing. This is a very safe spot to book and I would highly recommend it. Going by car you will be downtown Platanias in 5 minutes. The host helped us out upon our arrival and met us at the nearby police station. Very easy to find with google maps, 35/40 minutes from the airport. Very nice balconys in the 2. nd floor one on each side of the house, in the morning we had breakfest just outside the kitchen on a balcony turning west, and in the evening you can sit on the most spacious one turning east and enjoy the view of Platanias, Agia Marina and have glimpse of Chania far out and the mountains. The bedrooms a spacious, bathroom as well, the living room is huge and the kitchen is just what you need, easy for two adults to cook and prepare food. There is also a very nice barbeque area. I had a 9 seater rental car and there was no problem to get through the street up to the house, and one can park in the street or at the house behind looked doors. Getting in touch with the host was very easy, always responding quickly and with high care. Easy to plan both arrival and departure. Thank you for our stay - we highly appreciate the hospitality :-)

The property is a 5 minute leisurely walk to the sea and 30 seconds walk to the nearest bus stop which will take you anywhere between Gerani and Chania. (Tip: If coming by bus from Chania airport, get off at Solimar Aquamarine bus stop and walk through Solimar Aquamarine to reach the back road.) We received a warm welcome from Tonia who immediately showed us our room. The room was comfortable, the air-conditioning kept the room nice and cool, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We had a nice view from the balcony where we could sit and relax. The gardens were nicely maintained and we enjoyed the swimming pool and sun loungers. There are plenty of mini markets and restaurants within walking distance. Efkaristo Tonia, ta leme!

It is a bit out of the way and almost a hole, but there are no crowds, and I like such places near a nice sea and there is everything you need nearby - pub and shops at hand, great starting point, especially if you have a car. Spectacular sunrise over the island of Agii Theodori and misty sunset behind the mountains, better to take a walk towards Paralia Maleme but not the beach but the street.

Mix of resorts and private buildings, shopping easy and plentiful, good Lidl supermarket nearby, easy bus access to Chania, well-located near highway if you have a hire car and wish to drive further afield. We drived to Elafonisi beach and took around one and half hour from the hotel. It's amazing scenery on the way there. Some parts of the road are quite narrow and winding. Must drive with caution. The beach is very beautiful and has also pink sand. The water is shalllow, clear with a turquoise color and smooth waves. We also take a day trip cruise to Balos beach and Gramvousa

Gerani is a quiet area 25 minutes outside of Chania and easy to reach by car or bus if you choose. Great base for sightseeing the northwest beaches. Close to restaurants and markets if you have a rental car or don’t mind walking about 10 minutes. Safe area to walk at night. Easy to teach Balos Beach, Elafonisi and Falassarna Beaches.

Such a lovely 'part of the world', plenty to see and experience. We chose to use Gerani as our base and visited other parts of the island staying one night elsewhere ie: (Iracleon). One week was clearly, not enough for Crete, will need to come back.

It was quiet and a nice respite from the busier areas.

It was quiet and a nice respite from the busier areas. It offered good access to drive to different places. There were many facilities nearby so you could walk to restaurants, bars, etc. A lovely long beach.

If you want to stay away from the noise of the city,this is the place to stay. You will definitely need a car to travel. There are not much things to do near the Hotel but you can relax at the beach or in the pool. Rooms were clean when we arrived and were cleaned everyday. Breakfast was good. If you are a party person then this is not the place to stay.

the hotel is very nice (first line from the seeside), and everything was ok but the neighborhood is not really interesting - there is nothing around and it's hard even do your workouts outside (running)... but if you want to go there and stay all inclusive - its a good choice + a rent car for sightseeing
