Everything, location, room, breakfast, very attentive family staff. You feel very welcome from the very nice owners. I had luck and was not very crowded at the beginning from my stay. That small village is perfect for disconnect and relax without any stress and also if you have bad weather (unfortunately in my case) Very good value for money and the breakfast is excellent!

Excellent choice for budget hotel! Friendly, helpful professional staff. Basic clean room with sea view (36), a/c, mini-fridge, TV and hairdryer. Good, simple breakfast. Perfect location opposite (literally) beautiful beach with free umbrella/sunbeds for hotel guests! Beach bar/Cafe reasonably priced.

The position of the hotel is amazing, very calm with no other houses around, but in 2 minutes you are on the beach and in the center with many tavernas, cafes and supermarkets. also the outside area of the hotel is so beautiful with lots of tables, flowers, a swimming pool with a stunning view on the cretan landscape of trees and mountains. the owner alexandros is very friendly, as i am trying to learn greek he was organizing to give me a greek book. the room very clean and nice view, good shower, comfortable bed. i would always come back to esperides if i go to myrtos.

The facilities were amazing, clean, comfortable and modern. It’s 50 meters from the beach which is amazing. They also had an outside shower where you can wash off quickly before entering the house which is a really smart addition to the house. Everything was just perfect with the house and the owner was an amazing person, didn’t meet him personally but was always polite and very kind.

This is a true place of tranquility, situated ~100m above sea level and with a stunning view on the Lybian Sea. There are only these 4 houses in the middle of an olive tree plantation, all nicely arranged with tasteful architecture. It consists of a living room / kitchen and 2 identical bedrooms, all with a view to the sea. All doors are equipped with mosquito nets, including even the front door. The owner is a very nice host and takes very good care of her guests. She also left some groceries for our arrival :) The house is reachable via a narrow, pretty steep road. Very good tavernas down in the villages by the sea. Only small supermarkets in the village. Nice beaches are easily reachable next to the village down the road. Car is required.

Myrtos is a charming and authentic village on the southern coast of Crete. The apartment is exceptional—spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped for a longer stay. It offers free Wi-Fi, and every room has its own air-conditioning unit, which makes the stay very pleasant even on hot days. The location is outstanding, just about fifty meters from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and bakeries within walking distance. The hosts are especially kind and always ready to help with anything that comes up. At the end of our stay, we received lovely gifts as a souvenir of Myrtos and our time at Fota’s Home.

We (five adults) stayed for 15 days. The house was spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable extended stay—plenty of everything. All appliances were new. We were provided with extra towels and bedsheets whenever we needed them. The terrace in front is the best spot for summer, and we spent most of our time there when not at the beach. The host was fantastic: upon arrival, we received a welcome package with wine, chilled water, bread, marmalade, and coffee. The small sandy beach is just a three-minute walk away. One shop is right next door, and another is only four minutes away.
