Very friendly and helpful staff, exceptional cleanliness of the accommodation (every day). We had two balconies in our accommodation, one with a great view of the bay and the sea, the other on the opposite side, where for example there was no sun for part of the day. One day we also had breakfast in the restaurant, which is part of the accommodation. It was exceptional and we HIGHLY recommend it. €10 for a very rich breakfast. Free parking within the accommodation. A few minutes walk to the nearest shop and other restaurants.

The villa was very modern, everything was clean and tidy. We did not have enough towels and sheets, but Jeanette came immediately to bring us more. The sunset view is just breathtaking.

My mother and son found the apartment clean and pretty. There was a lovely little basket full of food for breakfast in the kitchen area. The owner was more than helpful, and very kind as she arranged pick up and drop offs to the airport . The location was in a quiet village which suited my mother . It was within walking distance to restaurants and local shops. The apartment had lovely views. They would definitely recommend staying here.

Plaka House is worth recommending for many reasons. The host is very friendly and responsive, we did not have any communication problems throughout our stay, and he did his best to make us feel comfortable. The property is very clean, including the kitchen, the toilet and the shower (I am a very sensitive person in relation to hygene, and these are the things I always check first when I enter a new property - absolutely no issues here). We also appreciated the fresh white towels and bed linen changed during our stay, the fresh fruit and the wine. The view on the bay is amazing! It is also important that you have enough privacy, unlike in an apartment. The location was easy to find, as the host provided us with exact location details. The bed might be a little narrow for two persons (if both are XL size), but this was already mentioned in reviews by other guests and was not an issue for us personally, we had enough space for both of us. The house is also very close to a nice restaurant and a mini market, about 5-7 minutes on foot. Our return flight was late in the evening, but the host allowed us to stay after the check-out time without any extra charge. Thank you, Panagiotis, we will definitely return!

This establishment is an exceptional example of high end modern living, yet very close to all the simple things that make the Greek summer a unique experience for all Greek and International tourists. The sea, the seafood, the slow life and warm hospitality and most of all the sun, the dramatic landscape and evening colors. The quality of all facilities is as good as it gets and the establishment stands out in this small seaside village close to Chania. The hospitality of all staff and especially Maria is wonderful. Sleeping was great and the breakfast is very rich and focused on the local ingredients and delicacies. If this is within your budget, do not think twice.

A stunning hotel in its beauty! Every detail in the new hotel is designed in natural colors, creating an atmosphere of calm and tranquility. The amazing architecture of the hotel connects perfectly with nature, and everything was simply beautiful and perfect! My room had a private pool, and it was simply magical. Natural light flooded the bathroom, making the experience even more special. We received delicious pastries and chocolates in our room, which added an extra touch to our experience. Everything was impeccably clean and tidy. The pools in the hotel are amazing, inviting me to relax and enjoy. The pool bar and the main pool were simply breathtaking in their beauty. The reception staff was amazing and welcoming, contributing to my excellent feeling during the stay. This is the most beautiful and luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in, and the views are breathtaking! Additionally, it is very close to Chania Airport, making it especially convenient. If you are looking for a pampering and beautiful place, this is the perfect spot! I highly recommend it!

Has spacious rooms and bathrooms and is also 15 minutes away from one of the most beautiful and famous lakes in Europe its absolutely stunning would highly recommend also really good price

It's a rich area with nice bars and restaurants - most people stay in upmarket villas and the square is busy at night. Small and picturesque, it has a couple of supermarkets and a brewery. It is very relaxing and peaceful.

Plaka and surrounding areas is a beautiful quiet and relaxing place. Short walk to restaurants and stunning views. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the place to be. Beautiful beaches and Chania Old Town and Venetian Harbour a short drive away.

Plaka is equipped with 2 mini markets which provide all basic necessities; larger supermarkets available in Kalyves and Souda. We ate a number of times in Plaka, Elpis restaurant being our favourite with excellent food and lovely staff. Taki’s is also very good.

Plaka is beautiful and very traditional. Excellent restaurants closeby. Amazing views across to Almyrida and also views of the mountain. We loved all of the restaurants and had great food in the four thst we went to. We had great souvlaki and moussaka. House wine in all were really good. We used the pool in Emerald apartments and just brought drinks while we were there, the view from the pool wS amazing. Very easy to get round Plaka, however we never walked back from Almyrida as it is very steep so had a taxi, 6 euros.

Plaka is a beautiful spot that has stunning views of the coast and Almyridia. It has a great selection of local restaurants and shops and is only a short walk down to the busier strip of restaurants, facilities and beaches. We had the most amazing time and the hosts could not do enough for us, it was so wonderful. A true home-from-home with special touches along the whole trip. I would highly recommend it to anyone asking. We will definitely revisit the special accommodation that we found in Plakias also, a great place to tour around the Chania region and beyond in Creta.

Plaka is a sweet little village close to beaches.

Plaka is a sweet little village close to beaches. It feels more authentic that staying in the resort areas and the restaurants are more traditional and much better prices! We found Plaka to be a very good base for exploring this part of Crete - it is only half an hour into Chania and it is also possible to drive to lots of beaches in a few minutes, one of them is only a ten minute walk away.

The location is perfect for what we needed, the staff are very friendly and helpful, it’s a 2 minute walk into Plaka Square where there are some lovely tavernas and restaurants, it’s a 8 minute walk down hill to the beach or 2 minutes in a car. Beautiful beach and lots more restaurants and bars.

Peaceful and quiet place, ideal for relaxation. We enjoyed hiking around among the olive trees with great views over the mountains. About 5 min drive to the nearest beach. It was nice to meet the Host Nectarios who is very helpful and easy to communicate with.
