My room was amazing!! Big, light, with a little kitchen and a good shower. The bed was definitely the most comfortable one in my 6 weeks traveling. The owner is very nice and the breakfast is great. The location is also very good.

Great spot to use as a base to explore the lake for a few days. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. Good views from the rooftop where there is also a well equipped communal kitchen to be found. Nice chap running the place. It is in the centre of San Pedro so noise from the streets is inevitable.

This hotel has the perfect location, especially if you book one of the lakeview rooms. every morning I would sit outside my room with a coffee and enjoy the sunrise over the lake, watching the fishermen on the lake and the women doing their work. The kitchen was well equipped, everything worked perfectly, there was free bottled water, wifi worked perfectly and I loved that the place was quiet and tranquil.

The location is a bit further to the hill but it is worth the climb as you will get the ultimate view over the lake. The room was clean and spotted. Very warm water in the shower was just a bonus. It was simple but very satisfying.

Great garden and great private room with a terrasse and a view on the lake ! Highly recommended for any travellers coming to lake Atitlán, the hosts are super nice and the breakfast is the cherry on the cake ! We « only » stayed 4 nights but could easily have stayed more !

It's a great village to walk around.

It's a great village to walk around. It's not just a party town. There are quiet spots. For instance, if you walk up to the main road from the Boat ramp from Panajachel, turn left instead of right, go down to the end and then right, up through the maze of restaurants, places to stay, etc. Very quiet, very nice, very tropical, and different than the heart of the village, which would be if tuned right at the main street - up the hill from the boat ramp, which is only a 2 to 3 minute walk.

We enjoyed San Pedro. it was picturesque with the beautiful lake and mountains. It was walkable, also easy to get a TukTuk. If you walk up the hill into the village, you get past the tourist streets and see local life. There are plenty of restaurants and shops. Many of the restaurants had seating that looked out over the lake. The souvenir market sellers are not pushy. We went to a Mayan museum, Tzunun' Ya'. It was informative about the formation of the lake and the traditional life of the Mayan people. We didn't see sandy beach areas to throw out a blanket and sit by the lake.

EquiRoast on 1A Calle close to the water opens not only at about 6:30/7 am but also has Caleb , the owner , who will offer a mind boggling amount of ways to make your coffee and also has nice , bitter DARK ROAST coffee ! Do not miss it !! It is important to know that the tuktuks only take you to the next town where you have to change to get to the next and then change tuktuk there again

San Pedro La Laguna was a fun town to walk around. There are many Spanish schools there and many young tourists. Lots of fun and convenient bars and restaurants. The view of the lake and volcano is stunning.

After one week in San Marcos which is great I got borred and...

After one week in San Marcos which is great I got borred and went to the most popular tourist village on the lake San Pedro which is more authentic, cheaper, full of good restaurants and bars. There are many things to do and you can do tours like San Pedro vulcano, Indian nose, party on the boat, visit beautiful village of San Juan with colorfull town center and take beautiful walk to Mirador Kaqasiiwaan.

San Pedro La Laguna is a great spot to experience Lake...

San Pedro La Laguna is a great spot to experience Lake Atitlan. There are a lot of activites such as paddleboarding, taking a tuktuk to San Juan, visiting the mercado or doing Spanish school. There are also option for bar crawls and party boats if you're into that. The view is beautiful and the people are so friendly.

The view from the rooms, roof terrace and lounge area is absolutely incredible. Our room was so comfortable. The staff at the hotel could not be nicer or friendlier. The location is amazing, with fab bars and restaurants next door to the hotel, and the dock only a minutes walk away.

One of my favourite hotels on my trip! The hammock in front of all the rooms is an incredible touch, and the rooftop is stellar for sunsets. It's on the edge of town so it is very quiet. My room was simple but very comfortable and even included a chair and a small table.

Had a great 3 night stay at Mikaso hotel. I loved the location, away from the parties, but with easy access. Loved the little dock with a view of the lake. The front desk staff was very helpful, Rene (I forgot the spelling of his name, unfortunately) in particular.
