Amazing hotel with romantic inner yard, lots of greenery, very little tourists. Much privacy. Staff always available at the reception desk. Nice restaurant in medieval spirit, very friendly workers. All places easy to reach: lovely handicraft market, stunning old churches with maya ceremonies, colourful cemetary.

I wish I could stay longer. What a privilege to stay with this Family. If you want to see people connected to their history, roots, customs this is the place to stay. If you want plastic-fantastic generic hotel don't bother.

The breakfast was excellent and Staff were terrific. The view is lovely and overlooks the garden and ponds. You just have to take a shuttle/bus to go into ChiChi or Santa Cruz - this was not a problem as buses are frequent. I loved the fact that the place is clean and quiet. Busing back and forth is easy due to frequency of buses.
