Our experience at Sunsets and Palm Trees was nothing short of incredible. The accommodations are absolutely stunning, nestled right by the serene Backwaters, offering breathtaking views that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a dream. He was incredibly friendly, always available, and did everything possible to ensure we had the best experience. Even when we needed a last-minute additional booking, he made it happen effortlessly. The food was delicious, and every meal was prepared with so much care and attention to detail. The warmth and generosity we experienced at Sunsets and Palm Trees made us feel completely at home. Stunning place at the river. Comfortable room. Very friendly neighbours! Being a family who lives on the same plot and look after you. Extremely nice and easy going as is Cindu who cooked for us an excellent meal. The rent of the room is done by a company and makes it a bit confusing in communication on forehand.

The place doesn't lift your spirits. If anything, it is slightly off-ptting, .,,surrounded by expanses of water smothered by what I think is the unsightly invasive water hyacinth. It has nothing else to offer by way of scenic charm.
