Everything was great, the new hotel manager made everything possible to make our stay an unforgettable experience. Rooms are confortable, delicious breakfast with homemade bread, butter, waffles and even goose eggs. She told us plenty of interesting stories of the place and Icelandic traditions and gave us advice of places to visit as well. Strongly recommended!

The staff working there are really enthusiastic about what they do, you will be greeted with a smile and a hearty hello. They will assist you with whatever it is you need, conversation, directions and suggestions about your travels. It is already a good hotel, I can only imagine what they will improve with the current plans that they are drawing up.

We were a bit worried with so few reviews, but this place is brand new, sleek, immaculate, extremely comfortable and the shared bathrooms are downright luxurious. It is very near the entrance to Studolagil Canyon, and met our needs to get a bit beyond Egilsstadir as we were driving east on the Ring Road. A wonderful last minute find!
