We absolutely loved Ósar Hostel! When we arrived we couldn’t believe that it was located just at the cliffs in such a magical silent place covered in the most spectacular sunset we’ve ever seen. We even got a free upgrade on top which made this stay unforgettable. The little cabins are adorable, you have everything you might need. A fully equipped kitchen, warm water, they even have a little cafe/snack bar at the reception and the cutest staff. We felt warmly welcomed right away. It’s also close to the beach with the popular rock and you can even see seals from down there. Just take care with the breading birds ;) We wish we would have booked for more than only one night and are definitely coming back.

The bed was so comfortable that i slept 13 hrs. They have good heater every where. Makes us felt warm at home. Is well decorated with heart and soul. Will recommend to my friends coming to Iceland soon.

This place was very fun to stay at - there are horses on site and the world's friendliest canine greeter! The location is great - ocean view and very close to beautiful sites. The owners are welcoming. It apparently used to be a school before it was a hotel. Rooms are clean, breakfast was good, and location can't be beat. I loved getting to see horses our our window!
