The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is an 17th century building, modernized beautifully. The breakfast room has the most amazing view of the sea and of Vesuvius. The breakfast is more than adequate with eggs yogourt fresh fruit croissants pancakes, real Canadian maple syrup, desserts, coffee tea juices. Our reception by Gennaro was warm and welcoming and he was extremely helpful and patient with recommendations and directions. He made certain to greet us daily. He made our stay here extra special. Grazie Mille Gennaro! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Get the room with a view! The views and the room are gorgeous.

This property was a great way to end our holiday close to Naples. We didn’t have to move from there. Nicely decorated and appointed. Luigi at reception was fantastic. He helped us with several items including EUR3 of his own money for toll fees. That is beyond the call of duty.

What a lovely welcome. We were greeted by the most beautiful, friendly and kind owner. Her mother was there as well and the greeting felt like I was coming home. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel was under renovations (2nd floor) but we never even realised. The owner apologised but there was no noise while we were there and considering they were renovating, the place was very clean - probably because it was being contained to one floor. The hotel is perched up on a hill with some lovely views of the sea. We left the blinds open and it was lovely to see all the lights and the sea. But note there are also rooms without a sea view but you can enjoy a sea view from the breakfast room. There was ample parking and the property was really safe. The drive to town is short. We came from Pompeii and I would have preferred to stay here and then drive to Pompeii. It was just a really good place to stay. We only stayed one night but we should have stayed longer. Breakfast was really good. There were no hot food options in January but there was ample food to eat (considering that there were no people staying on the 2nd floor - they still went out of there way to have a good selection of food). The lady that served us went out of her way to ensure that we had everything that we wanted. You could see she loved her job and really wanted to ensure that we were well fed. The coffee was freshly made by the lady. We were the only people in the breakfast room as the lady made sure that we could have breakfast slightly earlier. If we wanted more food that was there, the lady would have provided it. Would love to stay here again but I would stay a few days longer. Thank you for a lovely stay. I have added a picture to showcase how much parking there is as this is so important for us when we travel.

Castellammare is a lovely city, very authentic and very enjoyable to visit and immerse into the Italian lifestyle. Nice shops, lovely restaurants and bars. The Museum archeologico di stabia is a must-see to learn about the eruption and all of the archeological sites around the Vesuvius. People are very friendly and hospitable. there is a good shuttlebus service and excellent train service to many sites along the coast.

There is not a proper beach, i.e. with sand. It's more a grassy area and places where you can sit but not really next to the sea. The esplanade was pleasant and quite busy. The restaurants we tried along the sea front served good and not too expensive food. It's good to use this place as a base to see Pompei and Sorrento, where accommodation is in general more expensive.

Castellammare di Stabia is a normal working town and much less touristy compared to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. It has great views across the Bay of Naples towards Mount Vesuvius. It is on the Circumvesuviana train line, so easy to get into Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento without a car. It was a very friendly and welcoming place. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from, although opening days and times were a bit erratic.

The sea front with its elegant buildings and promenade is extremely attractive. The views towards Vesuvius are spectacular. The town itself does not seem anything special but it is much quieter than Sorrento which was somewhat overrun when we visited. At the same time, Sorrento is easily accessible.

The city is medium and what I don't like but this looks to be Italian style, they close the shops/stores to early ( about 20:30 ) ; for me a place on the sea cost acting like this is unusual !

A good base for somewhere outside of Sorrento that is a little cheaper but with good transport links. From the port we got ferries to Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi and Positano. There is also a train service but we didn't use this. There are some great restaurants around, Please try Capri Blu and the best Ice cream at K2.

Some of the staff were brilliant, they would bend over backwards to help you, especially Cristian who helped us get a taxi to and from the town multiple times and was always there to help. The outside is lovely, very picturesque including the extensive garden. There is a big dog in the hotel which is mostly friendly but if you scare her she will understandably bark There are also at least 6 cats that hang around by the pool, they are happy to keep to themselves unless you have food

Convenient location a block back from the beach, big and spacious apartment with balcony to the sea view. Easy walk to local shops (great to buy fresh seafood) and restaurants. Received good recommendations for dining and the lovely manager was very fast & helpful resolving any concerns or offering to change towels, remove rubbish etc. It was nice to receive complimentary breakfast items. Easy drive to Pompeii and Herculaneum 20-25 min away.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious, spotless, and offered a fantastic view — truly breathtaking! The breakfast was amazing with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

Spacious clean rooms. Close to train station. Close to the bus stop (50m) if you want to go to path of gods the sita sud bus leaves just from the hotel 1 min away. The breakfast was quite delicious
