Hotel with amazing views of Mt. Cofano and the sea! Colombo, thank you for the wonderful room! The balcony is also large and comfortable. Breakfast is also varied and enjoyable. Colombo, Salvatore and the rest of the staff are also friendly and helpful. I only stayed for one day, but I wish I could have stayed a little longer. If I ever come to Erice, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Very good location (even with a car) right next to the Porta Carmine. We arrived with the cableway (8mins walking from the station to the hotel). The staff is very kind and helpful. Nice breakfast with homemade sweets. Rooms are big, clean with pleasant furniture. The bathroom helps you to feel more relaxed. Don't miss the chance to stay in the place while visiting the great village of Erice!

Fabulous and wonderful, an 11 out of 10. The hosts are so very welcoming and kind. They help you park the car and then bring you to the apartment themselves after an interesting tour of Erice's history and highlights. The fridge is stocked. Fruit, water and necessities for breakfast are all provided. The ground floor apartment is a good space, with a good bed. It is a quiet and relaxing place. Looking forward to returning and strongly recommended.

Extremely convenient that they have their own private parking close to center from where they give you a ride to apt. Clean and beautiful apt. This is a lovely 1 bedroom apartment adjoining the owners property. It was well presented with everything you could need. Andreina was there to welcome us and explain everything and ask if we needed anything. She clearly takes pride in her home as it was well presented, very clean and had everything you could want. She also had limoncello in the fridge, some fresh juice and a nicely gifted present of local home made biscuits. A very nice touch. The area is very quiet. As it had a BBQ in the garden we took the opportunity to cook fresh fish. There is a nice eating area outside with table, chairs etc. We parked on the property. The apartment is not far from the beach and shops. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Erice is an ancient village located at the top of a hill...

Erice is an ancient village located at the top of a hill overlooking Trapani with superb views all around. It is possible to drive up the long winding road or take a bus up the well surfaced and not narrow road. All parking is on the outskirts of the village at a cost. Do not try to drive through the very narrow, cobbled streets, you will have problems. It is possible to take the cable car to Erice from Trapani, a good choice if you are just visiting for the day. You can walk up to Erice from Trapani from NEAR the cable car station but not FROM the cable car station, initially on a steep, tarmac road leading to a dusty, gritty, track but it isn't well signed and if you decide instead to walk up the road it is a long way, around 12 km. The village itself is very interesting and it is possible to walk a complete circuit. All the streets are narrow, cobbled and uneven. There is a profusion of gift shops, very many selling the same ceramic souvenirs etc. There are many restaurants and cafes but be aware a majority of them close later in the afternoon when the village becomes almost empty so if you are staying overnight the few that are open can be busy. There are a good number of places to stay but I would recommend highly a booking is made in advance. Enjoy a visit.

The view of the plain to the southeast, of Trapani, its famed salt flats, and of the sea was spectacular, the restaurant breakfasts and dinners excellent, the room comfortable and clean. Most of all, Antonio, the manager, was a really great and helpful person. His service to drive us and our luggage up from the parking lot (with an orienting sight-seeing narrative thrown in!) and around the narrow streets to the hotel, park our car and then bring us back to it after our stay was invaluable. We wish we could have stayed longer.

High above the water sits Erice.

High above the water sits Erice. The hill town is very old and well preserved. The churches are well worth visiting. It is only crowded during the day but in the evening all the buses are gone and the town is very quiet.

Erice is a very charming town, and worth a visit, but only...

Erice is a very charming town, and worth a visit, but only if you're able to walk steep hills and cobblestones. Maria Grammatico's pastry shop was a highlight for us, as was just walking around the town. Do be sure to 1) download EasyPark or a similar parking-pay app before you go, and if you stay in one of the hotels overnight, be sure to also download WhatsApp as most of the smaller Italian hotels use that to communicate. All the food we had was great; prices were reasonable; not a lot of tourists, but even in early May, there were some. We took a taxi up, which was pricer than the cable car, but I don't like heights!

Very old town with many things to see.

Very old town with many things to see. Many restaurants for all kinds of food. Since Erice is high up in the mountains, there are few level areas. Great for keeping in shape! You cannot get lost. It's a small town. Evenings get cooler, so bring a jacket if you plan to eat on a terrace.

The community has a nice offer for 12 Euro to enter all churches and monuments in the village. It can easily keep you busy and running around for a day in the village. A bus from/to the village from Trapani is 2,90 Euro and takes about 45 min. The Funivia (cable car is 6,50 Euro and takes about 20 min + the local AST 21 or 23 bus to take you there for 1,40 Euro). I saved one cable car ride for the last evening just as an experience enjoying the sunset views and using it as a way to reach the village late. The last bus from Trapani is 17.30 the last cable car around 20.00.

Great hotel and restaurant. Upgraded to bigger room. Very spacious and comfortable. Dinner was delicious, one of our best in Sicily. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Antonio meet us at the town parking lot and drove us to the entrance of the hotel and then parked our car. He shared with us the history and highlights of Erice and gave good wine recommendations for dinner. Highly recommend this Hotel.

The hosts were fantastic, they helped us to find free parking and provided valuable information about Erice and its history. The apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Lovely touches such as snacks and drinks were provided by the hosts. Very central to everything in Erice, you can easily walk around the town then relax in the apartment.

Staff was very nice and friendly, the room very comfortable and the breakfast is the best we’ve had during our stay in Sicily. The location is good : a 5mn walk from the city center but right next to the parking (and the hotel also has a restaurant).
