We had the place to ourselves since we were the only guests. Cinzia, our host, met us to check us in and show us to our room. Because breakfast is not provided she very kindly drove us to a nearby supermarket to get some provisions and dropped us off again at the property. A complimentary bottle of estate grown wine and nibbles were very much appreciated by us and enjoyed in the downstairs guest lounge! A nearby pizzeria was able to provide GF pizza for our coeliac friend. We were able to leave our main luggage at the estate for a taxi driver to pick up later in the afternoon since our next destination wasn’t available for an early luggage drop off.

It was one of a kind experience. The feeling to wake up and walk into a castle from your BnB is something else. However small the castle is , it makes up with the most beautiful Tuscany hills surrounding the area. I had zero expectations from the place but it exceeded mine. Our host was as wonderful as our stay. She was very patient and accommodating with our demands.

Location is beautiful, the food is delicious and sourced locally, some of it by the produced on site. Beware of Googles' directions: there is a tunnel allowing you to cross the railway south of the station, then turn right, and follow the signs to the Agriturismo, IGNORING Google!
