The view from Villa gli Ulivi was quite simply stunning and spectacular. We watched the many moods from Lake Como from the balcony mesmerised. Silvia and her husband were great hosts. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the train to the Villa then ferried us back to the train themselves when it was time to leave. They were responsive to any message we sent and great hosts. It is up a hill from the train station and I would not suggest trying to take luggage up the hill walking. We would walk into town and then we caught the D21 bus or walked back up, walk down in about 15mins, walk up is a bit longer but take breaks and it’s ok. Or you can taxi for 15 euro. The property has a lovely garden, well equipped kitchen and three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. After moving around Italy it was nice to sit and watch the sunsets on the balcony.

Gorgeous apartment that pictures are not able to give justice to! Place was really clean and had a little balcony that we could chill and drink our wine on. Lovely place in a quaint little town with an amazing restaurant just right below the apartment. 100% recommend!

The view is A MA ZING! 🌅🌄. It has a really nice terrace/balcony thats conected from the beedroom and also from the living room and provide so much light and fresh air. Even if we where at the appartment, we felt like we where already making the most of the day, as the view that it has has nothing to envy to the restaurants or bars. Get yourself a nice bottle of wine (that our host so kindly gifted us 🍷), some nice salami and cheese from the market that’s on the corner, and you are all set to relax on the terrace chairs 🌅

A nice quite place to walk around in the montain / hills, to wonder far from the noise of too many turists. The view of the lake is breathtaken. People in the town are very kind. With teenegers or without, a nice place to visit at least a couple of days.

Perledo has amazing views of the lake and has everything you need for a couple of days - shop, bar & restaurant. We loved our stay here - a great base from which to visit the lake but escape the other tourists.

I had a great stay at this property.

I had a great stay at this property. The view was absolutely stunning – one of the highlights of the trip! The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The Jacuzzi was a real treat and added a special touch to the experience. The only downside was the shower, which could have been cleaner. Overall, a lovely place to relax with just a small area for improvement.

We were delighted with such a magical view from our balcony and terrace of the villa. The room was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. You need to check the schedule of buses, ferries and supermarkets in advance, as everything closes very early in this area. We enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the city. We dream of coming back for a whole month))

This town, right next to Varenna, was thee best location to stay. We could hop on a ferry every hour or more to Bellagio or Menaggio and be there in 15 minutes. But our town was the best to be our base location.

Perledo was a fantastic place to stay.It is about 15minutes downhill from Verenna if you want to catch a ferry.The walk back up the hill you need to be fit it’s steep.Perledo has lovely local restaurants to go to and it’s all fresh produce which I loved.Great walks in Perledo and lots to explore and the view over the lake is amazing.You have to stay in Perledo there is so much to see.

We had a warm-hearted welcome from Mrs Claudia, who previously indicated us public transport options to get to the Villa and showed us the surroundings of Perledo. The villa and the garden are beautiful, and you can enjoy your meals on the terrace. The installations were perfectly confortable, with utilities provided in the kitchen, and the location is calm. Furthermore, the views from the villa are breathtaking. The 20 min walk down to Varenna is very pretty and enjoyable. I will come back if the occasion arises in the future.

A very delicate old Italian style hotel with many ancient relics bringing the guest even closer to Italian style and tradition. The rooms and bathroom are exceptionally clean and will surely surprise fans of vintage style interior. The owner of the hotel and his wife are very warm people and will really do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Very close accommodation to the stunning waters of Lake Como. Great cafe downstairs with equally great coffee, pastries and gelato. Staff manage two venues and were able to assist with our bags. The included breakfast is a short walk up the hill to their other hotel, and is just lovely. You will not go hungry with such a variety of dietary options.
