Our stay at Crea Una Volta was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Elena and her lovely daughter Isotta made us feel incredibly welcome—like long-lost friends rather than guests. Their warmth and attention to detail made all the difference, and it’s clear that hospitality runs deep in this family. The apartment itself is charming, cozy, and beautifully curated, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. But what really took our breath away was the view—directly overlooking the main square of Pian del Voglio. Waking up to that picture-perfect scene every morning felt like stepping into a postcard. Pian del Voglio is a hidden gem—quiet and peaceful, yet full of character and authentic Italian charm. It's the kind of town where time slows down, the people smile at you in the street, and every corner seems to tell a story. Whether you're stopping over on a longer journey or looking for a tranquil escape, this town (and this home) are more than worth the detour. We left with full hearts and a promise to return. We were received by the very lovely staff and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was locally sourced and tasted amazing. The room was clean and cozy and had a great lake view. A tiny breakfast buffet was setup especially for us.

How to start , One of the cleanest B&B i have ever stayed at , Greeted By Geovanni who is one of the nicest People you could wish to meet , ,the rooms are spotless, tasteful and Cozy , Pet friendly , and the Surrounding Village very nice , Restaurant a few paces away and small Deli/ Supermerchato as well , parking off road safe near the Church , just a nice place to be . The Breakfast was a dream everything Fresh , and good , again Gio was at his best .

This is definitely the most amazing stop during our 9-day trip in Italy, and this is the only stop I feel like writing a comment. Everything is simply unforgettable. We arrived late at night, but Stefano still waited for us with huge hospitality. He even helped us asking whether the restaurants were still open because we cannot speak Italian. For a senior man working so late is not trivial. I read other people's comments, and I agree on all the points such as comfortness, cleanness, spaciousness, modernness of the bathroom in an historic villa, etc. Everything positive. I just would like to add that from many details, Stefano and his wife as the designer of the interior, are really welcoming the guests. They not only provided the necessary stuffs, but also arranged them with care by think in advance how the guests would need them. For example, for the first time I saw that the clean bathroom towels were already hung there instead of being folded. I felt that they would like their guests to enjoy the maximum convenience during their stay. Even though we arrived late, Stefano still patiently demonstrated to us how to use the gas stove, even though it was really unlikely that we would need it. One would definitely feel welcome by being treated by him as well as by enjoying the interior design. Our daughter enjoyed her stay without willing to leave. I would provide my utmost recommendation to this villa. The only thing that was a bit regretful is that my wife could not enjoy very well despite such a nice villa, because she is allergic to the pollen and she sneezed a lot during her stay. But this further demonstrates that Stefano and his wife really decorate the villa with great beauty and sincerity. This was a great stay for us. I would very much like to come back again.

I would class Transylvania as a " boutique" hotel as it is...

I would class Transylvania as a " boutique" hotel as it is orientated for people who likes mystery and not afraid of skeletons. We all will be skeletons anyway! Enjoy Drakula atmosphere and a nice drink! Will definitely recommend and come back myself and next time will bring my kids! Roberta, hotel manager will assist with everything and tell you interesting stories.
