This accommodation was amazing in all aspects. Staff very helpful, rooms were very clean and smelt fresh on entry. The breakfast was amazing and met all of our needs. Will certainly be recommending this accommodation to all my friends traveling to this region and will return myself on the next visit.

Modern, spotlessly clean and the owner let us use his private garage to park our motorbike. Room had everything we needed and the en suite bathroom was large and well appointed. The breakfast was really good and all the staff were helpful and kind.

The location in Calabria is stunning; there is a sizable pool that is surrounded by numerous olive trees. The dining establishment was a surprise. In addition to being inexpensive and having silver  plating everywhere, the meal was also superb. The rooms were good, and there were free parking  spots available. She kindly offered to send the mobile phone we  left behind with a registered courier free of charge. A location that I heartily suggest.

Apartments were fresh, clean and comfortable. There was a choice for self catering with a kitchen or a BNB option. Amazing selection for continental breakfast. Owners and staff went above and beyond with help and friendliness. I would highly recommend them.

Polistena is a nice little town overlooking tha beautiful and lush Gioia Tauro plain. It locates nearly in the middle of the Calabrian peninsula, allowing for quick access to beaches on the Tyrrhenian coast and on the Ionian coast. Major touristic location such as Reggio Calabria, Scilla and the Aspromonte natural park are also easily accessible.When there, don't miss "Donna Nela", a top-class, cozy restaurant and wine bar 100 m from the main city square.

We stopped in Polistena on our way down towards Sicily, a strategic location and still close to some very beautiful beaches, the town is small but with some notable architectural excellence, I recommend a truly excellent wine bar and restaurant "Donna Nela" with a histrionic and very capable owner, go there you will not regret it

Polistena was a delightful little town.

Polistena was a delightful little town. We ended up here by chance, as we needed to make a stop in Calabria, and we were pleasantly surprised. The town has a vibrant nightlife and restaurants serving typical Calabrian cuisine that we loved. Its location is ideal for visiting the beaches in the region.

Just a short distance from the main road/highway, it's the ideal destination for those needing a base for exploring southern Calabria and easily traveling between the Tyrrhenian and Ionian Seas. The town offers a wide range of interesting businesses, including pastry shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, pizzerias, supermarkets, and more.

I arrived in the evening, so I didn't have a chance to explore it thoroughly. That evening, I went to eat at Donna Nela restaurant, which I highly recommend. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was prompt, with quality, beautifully presented food. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I highly recommend it.

The town is very well located for accessing both beaches and...

The town is very well located for accessing both beaches and the mountains. It's a vibrant town, always lively in the evenings. There are excellent restaurants such as El Gordo, Donna Nela, and Bar Italia.
