Lovely place, next to the sea. They have vegan and gluten free options for breakfast which is great! Late check in is also possible and the staff were great. Free parking and a cute beach bar we’re also super convenient. We had a very nice stay!

Very warm welcome by Hotel staff and I could even choose the room! The room was quite spacious for Italy and had even a balcony. The room was very clean and had all what we expected. Also the breakfast was great done and you get more then just a croissant and a coffee, what would be typical in Italy!

Great rooms, big, high ceilings, clean, big and comfortable bed. 3 mirrors, enough towels, big balcony (I think we got a free upgrade). Super nice staff! Very friendly and they sent us a list of recommended restaurants around the hotel without us even asking for it, a very nice gesture that helped us a lot. Right next to the hotel is a great, cheap Chinese restaurant that was also recommended on the list, and was great. Breakfast at the hotel was also very good, many options, nice and big dining room. They offer parking for 20€ per night, but we were lucky to find a spot on the street which is free. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We had to make an unexpected overnight stay in Ventimiglia as there was a railway strike. Most of the hotels near the station were fully booked. We stumbled upon Sole Mare and immediately booked as the price and inclusion of breakfast made it a great deal for our family of four. The location and views were amazing, the beach and restaurants were across the road from the hotel - which provided something for us to do for the afternoon. The staff were the friendliest people we had met in Italy, and the breakfast and service were a real treat. The hotels decor is also so beautiful.
