I usually prefer to stay at Airbnb than hotel, but this place changed my mind on what a good hotel can be. First of all hotel is run by women from one family so you get a feeling that you are very welcomed there, and whatever you ask they will try their best to do it. For example, owner went out of her way when one of the nights we could not get a taxi so she came for us instead of taxi and drove us back even though it was really late. And on the Friday night. Even took our friends to their place which was not on the way. It was very nice of them to do, must not have been easy. Second example, when we checked very late in the evening they gave us a quick dinner even though all of the places were closed. We expected a sandwich but got 3 meal course with wine, lovely surprise. The food was great too, during our stay saw plenty of people that were not staying in the hotel come for just the food and cozy atmosphere. You can fully have a nice evening after skiing and use a sauna, have a dinner maybe some drinks after and just relax. Many of guests do. Also the place is impeccably clean, not a single cobweb in sight. Rooms are spacious and there is a small river running by with the view of mountains from the window. Had great mornings and rest in there. It's on a quieter part of skiing town but I did not miss it, we had the best time. Hopefully we can come back soon. Thank you for a lovely stay.

For facilities the swimming pool and sauna are calm and clean; the view on mountain is amazing and the room was pratice and useful. We spent two diner and breakfast at hotel : the food was very tasty and homemade with local products. Cocktails are super too ! Absolutly succulent. The staff familly was kind and available. Everything was perfect ; thank you for the days spent - we will come again from France !

wow what an amazing hotel! Effie and co are efficient, friendly, welcoming and smart hoteliers. Close to the Kronplatz ski lift this is easily one of the cleanest and well managed hotels in the area.

The hotel was wonderful - rooms were beautiful, spacious and clean. Breakfast and the restaurant were amazing, with a big variety and fresh produce. Wellness room and sauna were also nice; and the whole staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The ski shuttle drove us to Riscone and picked us up when we called. Everything was nicely organized and I would definitely stay there again! And the view is amazing.

Great value for relatively little money, especially for four travellers. Excellent location with fantastic views of the countryside. Very friendly host, drinks and home-made produce on offer at the location at very reasonable prices. Also, just to be sure: don't expect a luxury apartment. You're staying on a farm in the mountains where a rooster may wake you a little earlier than you planned. Would come back for sure.

There is a local supermarket which is well supplied.

There is a local supermarket which is well supplied. There are also clothes shops and even a shoe repair place. The museum at the Tourist Information is well worth a visit and you will learn about the Roman history of the town. You can also go on organised walks and tours which explores the local history. The roads are narrow and parking is limited but buses and trains are very good. The restaurant in the square is well worth a visit and is famous for its Pizzas.

Short driving distance to Kronplatz/Plan de Corones for...

Short driving distance to Kronplatz/Plan de Corones for downhill skiing and at the same time the possibility to visit the biathlon stadium Anthloz/Anterselva, where there are modified circuits for cross-country skiing, driving distance to Brixen/Bressanone, where it is possible to use a swimming pool with a toboggan, whirlpool, etc. In Bruneck /Brunico possibility of shopping in the large supermarket Interspar. Generally excellent connection from the backbone highway route Austria - Brenner/Brennero - Verona, approx. 30 minutes drive.

We went in July. Not so scenic to our expectations. The tall, interesting mountains like Tre Cime, Sassolungo are not visible from here. It was a hassle to everytime drive out of this place into the other areas of interest. However the lakes are easy to drive from here (braies, Dobbiaco etc.). Also the streams in this area are a good place to spend some time. The good thing about this area is that its away from the "crowded" places. So its quiet and peaceful. Next time, I would rather prefer to stay near the hotspots like Urtijëi (close to Seceda and sassolungo), Misurina (close to Tre Cime), St. Magdalena, Maybe during winter, this place looks more scenic.

Good location of the hotel. Great view from the hotel. Spacious room and bathroom. The presence of a safe and a hairdryer in the room. Friendly staff. Large breakfasts and dinners. Availability of an elevator. In general, the cuisine is delicious. In general, we are very satisfied with the rest in this hotel and from the bottom of our hearts we wish it further development, friendly guests and always maximum reservations at the hotel. We recommend it to everyone who wants to have a good vacation in the Italian Dolomites!

Breakfast - very filling and hearty. Dinner - a variety of local dishes from the region of Tirol, as well as, dishes from neighbouring countries like Austria. Above all the hotel is run by a very welcoming and accommodating family who always are extremely friendly.

Good option near Bruneck, San Lorenzo di Sebato is a very pretty village. Easy and safe parking in an underground garage. Gasthof Traube is a pleasant guesthouse with nice rooms, a good restaurant and friendly staff.

Hotel is on very quite location and with car is 5 minutes form gondola Kronplatz 2000 (Brunico). The stuff are very friendly and they always want to help. Small and very nice spa.
