We spent two peaceful autumn days here and really enjoyed our stay. The area around Bologna is calm and full of charm - golden leaves, fresh air, and absolute silence. The B&B is located in a small, quiet town - perfect if you’re visiting Bologna by car (only 20–30 minutes away). The building feels new and well cared for. Everything in the room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The high wooden ceilings give it a special cozy character that makes the place feel both elegant and warm at the same time. Breakfast was nice and varied enough, and since we were the only guests during our stay, it felt very private and relaxing. The only small thing we missed was having mosquito nets on the windows - the air is so fresh that you just want to open them wide! Overall, it’s a lovely, peaceful place to rest and recharge. We wish the hosts continued success and hope to come back one day.

I was very displeased by the behavior of some of the...

I was very displeased by the behavior of some of the reception staff. They were unprofessional, unkind, and displayed a haughty, condescending attitude. They seemed to treat guests differently, whom they probably considered first-class and second-class. Unacceptable for a resort of that caliber. What a shame.

Simply fantastic, welcoming, flawless. Fantastic staff. Excellent food. The spa with music therapy is a fantastic gem. There are many pools, and two of them offer great privacy. EXCELLENT, highly recommended.

It was our fourth time at Palazzo di Varignana. The whole structure is very nice, immersed in a wonderful garden on the Bolognese hills, overlooking the countryside. The room we were assigned was very spacious, the bed is comfortable. The SPA is nice and has lot of pools and sauna/ other features where to relax, so if there is a lot of people you can find your peaceful spot anyways.

They have many pools, some regular hotel pool style and some infinity pools. The latter are undoubtedly beautiful! The spa was great and the room we booked was so spacious! It had a massive garden, shame we didnt use it. Some of the staff were courteous. It was a great stay!

The hotel has simple facilities but everything necessary. The Staff is very polite. Importante to say that at the same building is located the Terantiga Restaurant that offers a incredible Italian Menu.
