We loved our time at the Uji Tea Inn! It was quite easy to walk to the different train stations and amenities. Our hosts were exceptionally lovely and made us feel special during our stay. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Kyoto.

The staff was super nice. They let me enter before check in time and they were very friendly. The check out time is also very good. Not so often they let you leave until 11am. The room is in Japanese style and it was very beautiful. It has all amenities that you need. It's located near all the touristic area. I would stay there again.

A beautiful location. Rriver view is outstanding! During cherry blossoms, it should be absolutely magical. The room is a great combination of a traditional ryokan and a modern hotel, has everything you need for comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also were allowed to leave our luggage before check-in. We visited public baths and liked it.

Free drink by the front desk during daytime, public bath which was not big but it was really nice temperature and comfortable layout, free locker room to leave our luggage after check out, our room has iron pot for quality tea set addition to kettle and coffees. They do not serve breakfast. Walking distance from JR Uji station and Uji station. We had a 2 years old toddler, it took us 10 to 15minutes to reach
