The breakfast was good. The location is perfect if you are okay with being on the mainland. As we were visiting Naoshima, the location could have been better, but we had no choice as all hotels on the island were packed, and this location was then ideal.

The hôtel is very well situated between the beach and the artworks. It's very calm you can sleep with the sound of the wave and wake up just in front of the beach. I recommend going in April before golden week it's not too crowded and the weather is really nice. Also the bus can pick you up just in front of the reception however I recommend taking a bike for the day.

Our stay at this hotel was the most comfortable of our three weeks in Japan. The bed, pillows, and duvet were amazing, and the water pressure was great too. The hotel restaurant includes breakfast, which was delicious, and we also had dinner there one night—super tasty, really great experience.

It was near the Ferry to the island Naoshima which we wanted to visit. We could rent excellent electric bikes at the hotel which made it very easy for us to do sightseeing at the island and at the mainland. They had a good arrangement with shuttle bus to the railway station.

We loved this quiet, sweet, and spacious cottage. Comfortable beds, a good shower, enough space for our luggage, and its proximity to all the sites made it ideal for us.
