The whole family are so lovely and welcoming We had dinner with the family both nights we stayed and the food was really really tasty! Breakfast was nice also. The bed was comfortable and nets were provided. We also did the Kratie tour which was really great, very detailed and insightful.

I took the dorm option, and it was like having my own bedroom. The bed was comfortable, and the homestay was clean (toilet and shower were the cleanest I had in Cambodia). This is really a gem that sticks out to your standard homestay and guesthouses. I've been in countless in Asia and this was one of the best. The host Dary is amazing. She is friendly, helpful and has a lot of interesting stories to tell. She loves to talk and you can sit with her and her husband in the evening to share stories about how she grew up and about life in this Village. Rooms are big, Clean, big bathrooms. All kinds of services available, bus Transport, motorbike and bike rental, dolphin tours. Cant recommend this enough. If you go to Kratie this is the place.

The manager, a young lady from Nepal, is great. The best of Kampot, indeed. She recommended many interesting activities and helped organize everything, my day was PERFECT, thank you. All the staff is lovely and polite. The accommodation itself is fine, no problem.

The property is an old buiding from the 1950’s (I think) recently turned into a hotel. The owner / host made a point to keep everything as close to the original as possible, allowing you to travel back in time. The decor is really nice, showcasing local artists and artesans, the rooftop is great, everyone was super helpful when I wanted to book travel & tours, have laundry done etc. There is a real attention to ecology, creating as little waste as possible. The location in the heart of the market and just 2 mins away from the riverside is also very convenient. Thank you again Alex for making my stay in Kratié so memorable!

beautiful resort and most amazing private huts! decor was amazing and a roll top bath! great for couples wanting to treat themselves. the island is unique as well and a must for off the beaten track with no cars and to cycle around for a real authentic Cambodian life feel. food was delicious and pool was great. one of our fave places on our trip! can’t wait to come back!
