Casa Vacansa was the most surprisingly amazing accommodation of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The whole homestay is decorated with so much love and attention to detail, something we found missing in most other accommodations where everything is more "functional". The room, bathroom and especially the terrace were amazing and it's a nice and romantic atmosphere for two having your dinner on the big porch. The food was very good (we had Sri Lankan Sea Food Curry) and it was fantastic and the service even better. The owner has 15 years of experience in a luxury hotel and it just shows with his service and attention to detail and his great English. We also did 2 tours to the nearby bird sanctuary and the Ussangoda Beach with him and had a great time. The area is very quiet so it's a good getaway from the busy hustling and bustling of the coastal towns to relax and enjoy the quiet. I almost never write feedbacks but our stay here was just too great not to write one.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. There are plenty of facilities to enjoy, and the pools are very well maintained, making it a great spot for both kids and adults. The staff is incredibly attentive and always ready to assist—we truly felt taken care of throughout our stay. One incident that really stood out was when my child fell sick. The 24 hr clinic assisted us in the wee hours of the morning, and we were able to get the necessary medications quickly. Thankfully, my child was doing much better within a day, and we were able to relax again knowing we were in good hands. The food is delicious with a lot of variety, and the service staff consistently checked in to see if we needed anything. It’s clear that guest comfort is a top priority here. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for a family vacation—comfortable, safe, and full of thoughtful touches. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Lankavatara 9 days and we had a wonderful and restoring experience. We choose the location because is very quite and immerse in the nature and after 10 days going around the island we needed a break before leaving. What make our stay unforgettable has been also the staff, all are very helpful and professional, from the staff at the reception, the staff at the restaurant, the staff who clean, and the staff at the spa. Staff is really attentive and helpful. This makes for a really stress free vacation as we did not have to worry about a thing. Food was delicious and always prepared fresh. Beach was as epic as it gets, long and wide sandy strip. Pool was well taken care of and loungers were plenty to be found in shade and in sun. Rooms, although simple, were comfortable and cleaned daily. Location is good, quiet and relaxing.

We absolutely loved everything about this stay! Everything was tastfully decorated and the property is in general very well maintained. Gorgeous view of the ocean, pretty much a private beach and nice pool. But what made our last days of our honeymoon extra special was the exceptional service by the wonderful staff. We loved the combination of informality (always open for a chat and a joke) and their on-point service and eye for detail (remembering how you drink your coffee, allergies etc). They even surprised us with a romantic dinner at the beach front, surrounded by torches and flowers and decorated our room (again) while we were dining! Lakshan is a true towel artist!! Special thanks to Mithuu, Lakshan and Kamal for the exceptional service and making our last days extra special. Would recommend to everyone!!
