First and foremost was the view, especially from the swimming pool. You can see three mountain ranges. One cannot believe that one is only one hour away from Kandy. Then the staff, was extremely helpful, especially the restaurant staff. I will specially like to pick out Namal. He really went out of his way to make sure everything was cooked properly as my wife had a bad stomach.

Retreat Luxury Eco Resort in Kandy. From the warm welcome to the exceptional hospitality, everything was top-notch. The owner, Chaminda, personally welcomed us and escorted us to the property, which was such a thoughtful gesture. During our stay, we enjoyed two amazing treks and had the most refreshing bath in the natural waterfall pool – a truly unforgettable experience! The food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. This place is a true gem, and I would recommend it a thousand times over!

We can highly recommend this place. It was better than a 5-star luxury hotel. The house is very private and in lovely and quiet surroundings - garden, pool view The house is especially beautiful, has style and is very clean. The rooms are good size, with a private bathroom, air conditioning and terrace/balcony with garden furniture. Nice pool and there were sunbeds and garden furniture of good quality. The place, together with the Villa Manager really provides the opportunity for a relaxing holiday. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. At the same time, they are very discreet. They were aware that we had a fantastic good and relaxing stay. We recommend you try their cooking. They make amazing and delicious local dishes. It was made from fresh ingredients and was very tasty and varied - the best food we had in Sri Lanka. The communication has been very good right from the time we booked the house and during our stay.

Literally everything about the place is on spot, starting with the great location were you will realise later that every view your eyes will catch is a breathtaking.. all day every day!!
