It was so good. The owner is very helpful and the rooms are clean. he arranged everything that we wanted, including the transport. we stayed in the family room, with 2 spaces and in one space, it had 3 single beds and another space had a double bed.

My recent stay at The Tea Bungalow in Norwood, Hatton, Sri Lanka, was an experience I'll cherish forever. Nestled in the enchanting surroundings of Norwood, this place stands out as a serene and tranquil haven, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The host, Rimas, was a standout feature of our stay. His kindness and attention to detail made us feel welcomed and valued. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, setting the tone for a memorable visit. Equally commendable were the culinary delights prepared by Cook Mahendran and Fernando. Despite the rest of the staff being on public holidays, they managed to provide us with an array of delicious meals that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Their skill and dedication were evident in every dish they served. But what truly makes The Tea Bungalow a magical place is its location in Norwood. The natural beauty and serene atmosphere of this area are unparalleled. It's a place where one can truly relax and reconnect with nature. The landscapes, the calmness, and the overall ambiance of Norwood are what makes it the best place I've visited in Ceylon so far. In summary, The Tea Bungalow is a gem in the heart of Sri Lanka, offering impeccable service, delicious food, and a peaceful environment. It's a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

I was welcomed and cared for in an outmost great manner by Ruban, Lisha and Desmand. They were always present and ready to help out with any requests. My departure day included another personal service- all the way to the train station including the waiting time there. The food is simply wonderful. A tour, behind the scene at the tea factory was a learning curve and definitely another high point. Never again will I have a cup of tea without gratitude to the hard working tea pluckers (mature women), field and factory workers. Just to learn about tea. What it is, and the different stages of production? The bungalow is the only place that offers a field and factory tour combined. The tea pluckers will eventually fade away as young people do not want to take over. So there is a shift on its way. The bungalow, as well as the Tea Queen bungalow ( 10 years old) are tucked away above the town Norwood. The area is great for hiking, walking. To visit this unique place is totally recommended.

The staff were exceptional. Especially, Dilshan, Kamalini, Kannan and Ravi, were very friendly and provided a personalised service. The location is ideal if you're looking to be amid green tea plantations and with zero disturbance. Complete serenity.

We had a warm welcome with tea/coffee offered upon arrival. During the stay the host was very approachable for any questions we had. It’s conveniently located and walking distance to the entrance of Adams Peak. Nice breakfast is served, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Thank you for the great hospitality!

A beautiful accommodation in a stunning location, with lovely views. We stayed 3 nights in the villa at Capoe House and enjoyed every minute. The villa is very spacious, clean and comfortable, the meals were excellent and the staff were very professional and attentive. We visited the secret waterfall and hiked to the ancient rock. The lunch menu and drinks are not overpriced. We were the only guests during our stay and felt very well looked after.
