We stayed for 1 night and it was a great stay, not much around to do but that was fine for us as it was to just break up our journey.The room was clean and comfortable.The food for breakfast and dinner was lovely.The owner was so kind he sent us on our journey with some pancakes.

Thomasha is the best host we had on our trip. So friendly and welcoming. He contacted us beforehand to learn our arrival time so that he can be present at the house when we arrived. He showed us where to go to have lunch, and took us on his tuk tuk to the Ella Walla waterfall, which was a gem !

We really enjoyed our time at Sam's Stay. The place is new and one of the nicest we have been to in Srilanka. Sam welcomed us with fresh mango juice from his garden. The next day he showed us all the fruit trees around his place, rice fields and natural pool where you can swim. We had an amazing breakfast at his restaurant. On our wish he even prepared us wood apple juice which was delicious. For a local experience of Srilanka we highly recommend Sam's Stay.

A nice boat trip on the lake early in the morning I want to say something not indicated, about the safari proposed by the owner, it's 15000 rps but for the couple. The owner knows the place where elephants can come in the evening The homestay is really clean and food well cooked If you take the time to stop at this homestay, you will not regret Thanks to Admeet, very kind and helpful

The owner is very friendly and helpful! The place looked incredible and had everything i needed, the view from the roof is amazing. Great location, just a few minutes by car from the bus station.

The location is just a short walk to the amazing beauty of natural pools of Diyaluma waterfalls. Watching the sunset there is one of our core memories in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is more on the simple side, but what makes up for it is Imantika (pardon the spelling:)) and her family. During our three-week stay in Sri Lanka, we enjoyed nothing more than the night we spent in this lovely cottage. The family was as warm and welcoming as Sri Lankans generally are, but what made it truly special for us was the view of the waterfall and, even more so, the incredibly delicious food prepared by the wife. Not only did she cook sensationally for us, but she also gave so much of herself that it’s impossible to put into words how deeply this stay has stayed in our memories. The husband acted as our tour guide to the natural pools and explained so much to us. This hospitality, the location, and everything else truly deserve a 10/10. Thank you for everything!
