The location is great, right in between Mirissa and Ahangama. The rooms are well designed and always spotlessly clean and tidy. Enrico, is a great host. He always had time to explain and provide great advice on what to do, where to go and how to get there. He made me feel welcome and at home all the time. It’s true, not all heroes wear capes. This place is the best in weligama. It is located 5 minutes walk from the main point and the centre of weligama and it is quiet and peaceful. You can get the getaway from the noise and still be very close to all that is good in weligama. The staff is super warm and welcoming and the rooms are spotless clean. We came to weligama mainly to surf and it was perfect for us. The hotel is located right on the beach but does not have a private beach but it is no problem as you can have so many beaches right next to it

Absolutely beautiful place with an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, making the experience truly special. We really enjoyed our time in Moringa Mirissa - room was comfortable and large. We couldn’t fault anything! Warm water was working, no problem at all. The whole stay was beautiful, with the most amazing breakfast - both options (Sri Lankan + English) were really lovely. Manager was wonderful, so engaging and helpful throughout our stay and booked us a transfer to other destination for reasonable price. Make sure that you book tuktuk + taxis through Moringa boss as he always arrange decent drivers and save you lot of hustle and some money. The location is 10-15 min walk from beach, side from hustle and party noises. They don't have a pool but there is optional pool close by (BluOra Mirrisa) with large pool just 1 min walk from accommodation where you pay 2000 rupees for whole family and can swim for 3 hours with Pina colada included. We have traveled with two small kids and accommodation is really family friendly, both boys employed by Moringa were really lovely to our kids and had good manners and politeness. We couldn’t thank all staff enough for everything they did to make our stay so enjoyable. We didn’t want to leave neither did our little girls Agata and Beatrice. Also you can see a monkey family right from your window jumping on electric cables. If you have a skateboard with you - you can skate next door to Moringa as they have old school skate pool like in Movie Lords of dogtown. We had splendid time in Moringa.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Everything is new. We had a big, clean and comfortable room. The staff was really friendly to us and tried to make our stay as comfortable as it could be. The communication is running via WhatsApp. So no phones in the room. This is running perfectly. Whenever you you want something just write and they respond immediately. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Welligama.

Super nice vibe in this area!

Super nice vibe in this area! Not too crowded, yet there are many nice cafes and restaurants in the area. There is a super nice lagoon within 3 min walking and a beautiful beach within 5 min walking. Highly recommend Machan Curry Pot for authentic rice and curry, Pulse Nest for a serene yoga experience and lagoon hub as a co-working space!

Goviyapana is still the hidden gem on the east side of...

Goviyapana is still the hidden gem on the east side of Ahangama. 4 Minutes from the busy center of town. Has beautiful surf and swimming beaches and a blue lagoon AKA natural bathing place. Great local and western restaurants but still not as busy as other places in the south. Machan is my favourite local restaurant in this area. Buffet style sri lankan Rice and Curry. Definitely a must try. Check out Lagoon Hub if you are looking for a coworking space with a nice view and great internet and little cafe. Pulse Nest is a beautiful yoga shala right on the water. Everything in this area seems so serene and grounding. Would definitely recommend.
