We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Crown Hotel in Ampitiya and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the General Manager and his team. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests - truly commendable. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful views and immaculate facilities, but it was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the General Manager that truly made my stay memorable. The staff was caring and really listened. The showers were warm, and the view was perfect.we liked the fact that it was 2km away from downtown Kandy. The sri lankan breakfast was good as well. The pool looked good, but we didn't try it.

What a lovely stay we had. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Beautiful views. We had a dip in the pool in the evening and dinner on the balcony to top it off. Vijitha went out of his way to help us arrange our tickets for the train from Kandy to Ella, and drop us off at the train station. The location is perfect to get to Peradeniya Station (the stop before Kandy).

It's unbelievable what treasure we were able to discover here. Small but nice, remote, high in the mountains above Kandy, we had three wonderful days here. Very nice, modern rooms, a breathtaking view and a very strong team make this hotel what it is. Every wish was met and fulfilled. Our daily planning was supported... tucktucks and taxis were organized... and last but not least, an outstanding breakfast was prepared for us every morning according to our wishes. It was wonderful and when we are back in Kandy we won't have to think about where to stay. You're doing great guys, The Summit - Kandy is an absolute recommendation!

This place was in a great location. We had a car and after parking it at the property we were able to walk into Kandy or get a tuk tuk. The staff helped us park the car up the steep driveway. The linen on the beds were very clean and comfortable. The place was quiet giving us a good night’s sleep. The view from the rooftop is lovely and we enjoyed our breakfast there
